1.0 von 5 Sternen Avoid! 18. Oktober 2015
Von Knoslean - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Sorry to say, but this "book" is no good at all. The text has an annoying bragging tone, and the author seem to have zero insight into the topic, it consists of fragmented "ideas", "impressions" and "reflections" – of interest to... well, nobody. Avoid.

Terrible book - the content was more about the author than Pep himself. A waste of money.

Von tony celano - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Pep Guardiola’s values are revealed and analyzed to explain his great success. Ethnography is a description of the customs of individuals and cultures. From an ethnographical standpoint with coaches as the culture you can gain an insight into what makes a coach. This book covers the stresses and responsibilities of a modern day professional coach, and dives into the joys of a coach and why they do it. For Pep it is explained that his greatest joy is, “having an individual relationship with each player, and creating a family environment.” They dissect the important media and business strategies he uses as well as discuss the values that make a great coach. “He is prepared for self sacrifice, intelligent, tough, discrete, elegant, capable of welding a team together, he knows how to lose but how to win as well.” This book gives great insight to the famed Barcelona coach and is incredibly interesting if you are a fanatic of Barca, Bayern, or Pep himself. It is written in a sort of weird writing style when Violan says things like, “this book was written in order to,” and there is a few grammar issues due to the translations, “ In seeking to find the reasons for Guardiola’s success, there is one term that invariable comes to mind: common sense.” For me this doesn't distract from the terrific insight it gives, and it’s a great read for anyone who is interested.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Time I Will Never Get Back 20. Dezember 2014
Von Kindle Customer - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This is nothing but an amazingly long love letter to Pep from a fanatic who offers no insight as he is too busy analyzing his own personality and justifying his love of Pep to offer anything of interest to the reader. Books like this are what gives the concept of self-publishing a bad name.

Awesome philosophy that our US youth coaches need to study to make youth soccer more of the building area it should be for the National teams.
