HASH(0x979ca708) von 5 Sternen Best Dungeon Crawl yet from Paizo 19. Juli 2014
Von Lawpsided - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
This adventure is my favorite from Paizo yet! I think it's even better than Rise of the Runelords, which my group ran last year and loved. The starting town, Fort Inevitable is going to be my go-to location for future campaigns. The description of the locations and the quest "cheat sheet" are great. I'd highly recommend The Emerald Spire cards, too. My players like to take the quest and item cards with them so they can go home and type the quests in the forums for review.

We use a virtual table top called d20pro, so I bought the PDF version of the maps. Expensive but well worth it! The maps are beautiful!

At least buy the hardcover and read through it. Once you do that, you'll want to drop whatever you're running now and play this adventure! Then check out the cards and map pack. You can only get the maps from the Paizo website because they're a Paizo exclusive.

HASH(0x975343f0) von 5 Sternen The Next Monumental Superdungeon. 19. September 2014
Von A. Smith - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
Our gaming association, Order of the Amber Die, was the first in the world to complete the Emerald Spire. In our most enduring test of gaming to date, we played 195 hours of the Spire in 35 days. I am posting the details of our project at this thread on the Paizo website, and it should serve as a more than ample review of the product if that is what you are looking for. In the hopes of aiding current and future groups seeking to undertake this massive journey, I have included errata and reflections about the Spire experience as well. The write-up contains some spoilers as noted within, and photos can be found on our Facebook page.

HASH(0x979ca924) von 5 Sternen He loves it 27. Januar 2015

My husband loves all things D&D. He had been talking about this super dungeon so I thought I would surprise him. He loves it. The only complaint I've heard about it is that there's no back story of why you're in the dungeon or how you got there. But I would guess the players could make that up themselves. I don't know anything about this stuff he seems to really be excited about this dungeon.

HASH(0x970d27a4) von 5 Sternen I think the quality of the product is amazing and the dungeon is great 14. November 2014

I think the quality of the product is amazing and the dungeon is great. My only concern is you need to buy the cards that go along with the module to have a reason for the pcs to go there. This is just the description of the levels and the inhabitants, with no plot. With the history of the area there should be a reason for the adventure, not just treasure. Ive seven that some better.

HASH(0x979cad08) von 5 Sternen Not worth the cost unless you just want a straight up dungeon crawl 23. November 2014
Von Rob - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
We've been playing a few levels now and none of us are too impressed with the writers here. It would have been nice / more impressive / creative / encouraging to have levels a little more thought out with alternate ways of accomplishing goals but able to gain the same amount of XP. There is a distinct advantage to evil groups in this dungeon, if you are strong enough to get through everything. It just seemed lazy writing / storyboard development for some of the levels.

There is only one person out of the 6 that has enjoyed the "super" dungeon enough so far to want to continue (and really he just wants the land). Not recommending this purchase without some serious tweaks on the DM's part unless the desire is just to have an evil group and do a straightforward hack/slash dungeon crawl. In that case, fill your boots!
