Von Anfang an gab es diese Pixel auf dem desktop.

Konnte damit jedoch Anthem, Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Missionforce - Cyberstorm, Neverwinter, Star Trek online, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (auch den ersten Teil), Star Wars: The Old Republic und World of Warcraft mit den optimierten Voreinstellungen des (Nvidia) GeForce Experience (das ist das Grafikkarten Programm (software) für Spiele) ohne Probleme spielen.

Intern heißt die nämlich "GeForce Game Ready-Treiber", ist in der Version 511.79 und das Veröffentlichungsdatum war der 14. Februar 2022 (Stand 15. Februar 2022).

Leider ist bei den Spielen, bei BOiNC (rechnen für die Wissenschaft / gesammelte Projekte - früher/vorher gab es nur seti@home) usw., fängt der Lüfter an zu rattern.

I am blown away with the performance.... For 230€ I got a graka that has CoD MW on Ultra Settings @1080p with Ray Tracing on and it does not dip below 60fps! It is a single fan card so you can hear the fan when you are near the PC but I use headphones so no problems. Best bang for buck prolly for the next year.

Die Grafikkarte ist kompakt und benötigt nur 1x 8 Pin Stromzufuhr vom Netzteil.

Ich kann viele Spiele (GTA V, Resident evil 3 Remake, Dishornered) auf High settings spielen.

Der Lüfter ist bei den oben genannten Spielen mäßig hörbar bzw. angenehm im Betrieb.

Wenn ich aber Titel wie Lost Horizon oder Lego Ninjago spiele, dreht der Lüfter voll auf.
Ich verstehe nicht warum das so ist.

Diese Titel sind doch keine Grafikspiele. Allein schon unter Grafikkeinstellungen kann man fast nichts verstellen.
Für mich ein Rätsel.

Weil der Lüfter ordentlich aufdreht, ist das für mich störend.

Ich probiere es mal mit der Gtx 1660 super von Gainward

I bought this card for my latest home-build system shortly before the Covid pandemic took hold which, as we all know, is currently having a big impact on the price of just about every type of graphics card. My budget was certainly not without limits so my requirement was for a reasonably priced, yet suitably powerful enough card for my Ryzen based build. As the main use of my PC lies with productivity and photo-processing software I didn’t really see the justification in splashing out on an expensive RTX card.

Having said that however I do like to dabble in the occasional bit of HD gaming and also wanted a card which had a reasonable core count, primarily for the various BOINC projects that I run on my system. I therefore felt that a GTX 1660 based card, especially the super version, provided an ideal solution to my needs. I am more than happy to say that over the time I have been running my build this card has proved to be a truly excellent purchase. My main display is a 27” full HD IPS panel running at 144 MHz which this card drives with absolute ease. When I do fancy a bit of gaming I can crank all the game settings up to their maximum values and enjoy a genuinely impressive HD gaming experience.

I also have an Asus Pro-Art 27” IPS WQHD panel running as my secondary display which is primarily used for photo-processing work. Again this card drives this display without any problems what-so- ever and even when it comes to gaming I am really pleased at just how well this card runs games at surprisingly high settings, despite the increase in resolution.

Now although my system is housed in a good sized midi case, which has plenty of room, I am always uncomfortable with the idea of hanging a great heavy lump of a card from the PCI-E socket of the motherboard. Hence it was with this in mind that I decided to purchase this single fan Palit manufactured card. Now obviously a twin-fan card would provide more efficient and less noisy cooling under heavy load but I am none-the-less pleasantly surprised by the thermal performance of this card.

In normal use I find that the GPU runs at a temperature only marginally above ambient and with a fan noise barely discernable above that of the case and CPU fans of my system. Under sustained very heavy load - such as when being pretty well thrashed by some of the BOINC projects I run for instance - the fan does naturally spin-up to a pretty high rate. However the resultant fan noise, although certainly more noticeable, is in no way excessive and at no time has it ever become unacceptable. Meanwhile the temperatures at such times are very good indeed and so far have never exceeded 70°C. The fact that my system is housed in a good sized case with plenty of cooling obviously helps but I still think this card has excellent thermals given it’s single fan design.

So, in summary I would say that if your system requirement is similar to mine then I have no hesitation in recommending this GPU whatsoever. It has a brilliant price to performance ratio, especially for HD and even WQHD systems, and a neat compact build which has great thermal performance, despite it’s single fan design. As indicated earlier I did purchase my card prior to the Covid pandemic so the price I paid was as it should be and nowhere near the silly price being demanded at the moment.

Naturally this card is well out-performed by the various RTX cards which are now available but given how pleased I am with it’s overall performance, and taking into account the current ridiculously inflated prices of GPUs, this Palit GTX 1660 Super card is going to be powering the graphics of my system for some time yet.

Fitted this a few weeks ago and been really happy with it as an upgrade from an ATI R380. Fast card, graphics look great on the games I play (including RDR2). As a small, single-fan unit it’s probably noisier than the full size dual cooling fan versions, so if you can get one of those in your case instead, keep in mind, but all in all, this is a great *basic* and good value way to get a 1660 super into your computer.

When it comes to performance there are plenty of videos on YouTube showing the performance of the GTX 1660 Super paired with a variety of different CPUs. In most benchmarks this GPU isn’t far behind the GTX 1660ti which costs a little bit more and when you overclock your 1660 Super it will trade blows with a 1660ti that’s running at stock speed.

This particular card is the cheapest example of a GTX 1660 Super I could find only down side is that it’s single fan. When I stress tested the GPU outside my case it ran at around 65C so you can only expect it to get hotter after you put it in a case.

I’m personally not planning to overclock my card but if I was I would probably go for a dual fan design over this one.

I know the thought of getting a single fan card might scare some people, I was, but I’m not anymore this is a stock GTX 1660 Super and it performs like one.

There seems to be a batch of PALIT GeForce GTX 1660 Super Stormx that have a manufacturing fault that causes the fan to create an ungodly noise anywhere form 35-89% speed. the only option then is to run fans at a less than optimal >35% or a really loud <89%. i ordered a replacement which seemed to have a different fan and operates as normal.

This single fan card can run the latest games at 60fps on a mixture of ultra, high, and medium settings. It runs kind of hot at about 69c for me which may be aggravated by the ambient temps in my office but it's a really powerful entry level card. would consider trying to find another manufacturer as the issues with this card seem to be a PALIT issue.

The 1660 Super is the new mid range king and I say this as someone who has been with AMD for 10 years! The card doesn't raise a sweat on ultra-everything you throw at it @ 1080p. Very cool and very efficient. 69C after 5 hours of BFV on ultra. As a bonus it is powerful enough for an introduction to smooth 1440p gaming. A 144Hz monitor is essential now. This is my first purchase from Palit. They are a bare bones no razzamatazz manufacturer but known to be reliable and have good support. My delivery didn't even come with an install disk but you can install the latest drivers from the manufacturer web site or from Nvidia and don't forget that it doesn't come with a six-pin to 8-pin coverter so purchase one in advance if you need onw or you will be disappointed. Overall, very pleased with purchase.
