Since their founding in 1969, Uriah Heep have significantly shaped the development of hard rock and, together with Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, are considered the founding fathers of the genre. Unlike other representatives of this musical genre, Uriah Heep have always focused on the melodic aspect. Because Uriah Heep songs are characterized by excellent songwriting, fantastic harmonies and incomparable melodies.
