I love to listen to Prem Rawat talk, but I have always missed something in published transscripts. I had only a chance to read a chapter of his new book "No Ordinary Box", but it was enough to find that somehow this time his speeches have been edited in a way that actually makes them feel nice to read, not sounding so much like actual oratories. This is quality work. Makes it an excellent Christmas present. If your relations don't read it, borrow it and read it yourself.

HASH(0xa09ead50) von 5 Sternen A message we need to hear: "We are all much richer than we think. 28. November 2013
Von Timothy Gallwey - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
No Ordinary Box is an extraordinary expression of heart in written words that connects a person to unseen riches to be found within our "box" when we were born. It's true for the disadvantaged and for the advantaged, for the educated and the non-educated, the highest on the status ladder and the lowest. It tells us there is an entirely different way of measuring the value of a human life - one that completely levels the playing field. Dig inside and you will find these riches and know your true wealth, unassociated with accomplishments or special talents, with perceived value or unacknowledged value. The point is not to become someone, but to find who you are because you are human. In short: Know thyself and be in awe. This is what the individual needs to know, organizations and countries need to know.

HASH(0xa092c144) von 5 Sternen Excellent book for those who seek inner peace and fulfillment 3. Dezember 2013
Von Peter Y. Petrovich - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
It gives me great joy to witness the publication of this book. For many years Prem Rawat's speeches have helped me in so many situations on my own path to inner peace and fulfillment. He has given me invaluable guidance at many points. Readers will certainly appreciate the clarity, simplicity and thoroughness with which Prem Rawat has presented his message.

This valuable book provides an excellent reading material to those who are seeking to find inner peace and fulfillment in their daily life. Unlike most other books where a reader has to go through them successively, this book can be read in any order. Each chapter is complete in itself.

In this classic context, Prem Rawat offers practical advice, based on his own experience, for seeking inner peace and achieving physical, mental, and emotional harmony.

PROS: Moderately priced. Presented in plain English. A treasure to be referred to again and again. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

CONS: Highly addictive. I almost missed a flight while I was reading this book at the airport.

HASH(0xa09296f0) von 5 Sternen No Ordinary Box - asking key questions about life 6. Dezember 2013
Von Helen CH - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I flicked through my copy of No Ordinary Box and stopped at the Chapter entitled “Asking the Right Questions”.
In my profession, asking the right questions helps create positive change in peoples’ lives.
Reading it reminded me of the work of psychologist Erik Erikson, who argued that we all pass through eight life stages, from childhood to late adulthood. In each we confront (and hopefully master) the challenges of life. Like Rawat, Erikson identified some key questions that he believed a human being asks at each stage.
Rawat asks the question “What are you supposed to be paying attention to?” Answer: what’s important to you. And finding out what is important to us in life is, according to this book, the difference between clarity and confusion.
This clarity is vital to me in my own life and vital to my clients too. They are trying to sort out what’s important and what’s not. What’s a priority and not. There’s clear practical value to me in reading this kind of inspirational material.
I’m working my way through the rest of book – but it’s a rich dish. I want to read it a bite at a time and fully digest the meaning before taking in more. I’m looking forward to having time off over the holiday period to dip in again.

HASH(0xa092d4c8) von 5 Sternen No Ordinary Book! 2. Januar 2014
Von Mitchell Ditkoff - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
A wonderful book. Inspiring. Deep. Mind and heart opening with a light touch. Prem Rawat knows how to cut to the chase and help his readers not only understand what it means to be fully awake and alive -- but also FEEL it. The passion, commitment, and clarity of the author comes through on every page. The more I read, the slower I read -- as the nuance and depth of his message became clearer and clearer to me.
