Über den Autor und weitere Mitwirkende
Greg McHugh has over 17 years combined experience as psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist. He received training in client centered therapy in the mid 1960's and went on to study Gestalt Therapy at two institutes in California in the late 1960's. Later on he led Gestalt groups in San Francisco and Northern California. From 1972 to 1981 Greg was a member of a semi monastic Gnostic Christian order where he received training and initiation in the Ancient Mysteries. Since then he has continued on an experiential initiatory path of learning and realization that has significantly contributed to his work in Regression Therapy, Spirit Releasement, and other healing modalities. Since 1990 Greg has received a number of certifications and trainings in clinical hypnotherapy. He is certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist by the Association for Transpersonal Psychology and Hypnotherapy and is a Certified Level 1 professional member of the International Association of Regression and Research Therapies ((www.iarrt.org). Greg has authored three professional manuals. His article, Remote Regression Therapy was published in the 2009 issue of the Journal of Regression Therapy of the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies (www.iarrt.org). He currently has a clinical practice in Denver, Colorado where he also teaches and provides mentoring to other Regression Therapists. In my opinion, this book is a MUST for therapists working with Past-Life Regression and Spirit Releasement,
As a Board Certified Past-Life Regression Therapist who has worked in the field for the past 18 years, I recommend The New Regression Therapy as one of the best resource manuals I've seen that pulls together some of the most effective techniques that can help clients heal using the tools of Regression Therapy.
You'll find specific easy-to-follow protocols for working with clients interested in past-life therapy. These tools can also help the client heal from trauma that occurred earlier in the client's present life.
In addition, Greg includes very effective step-by-step strategies for releasing Earthbound Spirits and Dark Beings as well as ETs and other forms of attachment. I have not seen this covered as clearly in other books that I've read on Spirit Releasement.
What's more, you'll find important information on how best to call upon the Light and other Divine Resources. Plus he has sections on how to use Inner Plane Communication as well as how to work with surrogates for both Past-Life Regression and Spirit Releasement work.
I am delighted that Greg has placed all these techniques into one easy-to-understand resource manual. Together they can be extremely useful in helping clients heal trauma and resolve other issues not only rapidly but also effectively and completely using the tools of Regression Therapy.

McHugh refers to "this work as truly sacred work" with an emphasis on using the client's spiritual orientation. He focuses on the ongoing need for us to also maintain our own spiritual awareness. The importance of "being in the presence" with the client in their process facilitates a more profound experience in the regression. Thus, the therapist can intensify the healing by actually being part of the exitential adventure. Greg speaks of when we are totally focused on the client's state that we may leave self-awareness momentarily. As the client "feels" the feelings of the regressed personality in the body, a deeper catharsis occurs.
Perhaps the greatest contribution McHugh makes is the remote model that he has developed, taught and practiced. He uses the same training tools in the manual, explaining how someone can "act" as a surrogate for a client unable to be present for the session. Children and clients who are institutionalized or hospitalized are able to receive the same healing remotely. The book gives a detailed guide to accomplish this.
Also as a client, I can speak from personal experience. Initially I began seeing Greg to help with remote spirit releasement for my hospitalized son. As his surrogate, not only did we successfully send some dark beings and other attachments to the "light," but were also able to help my son with some of his psychological issues. The bonus of doing this work with Greg was that I eventually began to get rid of some chronic medical problems. We traveled to some past lives where the traumatic events were healed. Then I embarked on the most incredible spiritual journey to the Divine. Wow! "Aha" moments became "well Duh," and miracles began to happen everyday. This "stuff" really works!
