As a consultant and seminar speaker for the carpet cleaning and restoration industry (which evidently is where the author came from) I liked this book. It gives a good overview of what is a totally overwhelming subject for most of my clients.

The information in Chapter 8 on "mobile friendly" sites is worth the cost of the entire book. The mobile phone deal is a whole new and rapidly evolving area and Nathan's hints are cutting edge.

I would have liked to see more resources and/or links within the Kindle edition for that all-important "next step". But it is obvious the author has "been there/done that" and this "down in the trenches" approach counts for a lot. And I did find the Action Lists with the "git 'er done" items listed to be valuable.

So if you are running a small business get (and read) this book. But just setting it on a bookshelf won't do much. (Don't ask me how I know this!) Instead, ya gotta get your hands dirty on-line. (Or for many of you it would be smarter to hire the author or someone else to do the Internet work for you and you keep on making money within your chosen field to pay them with!) However you decide to do it if you don't focus on your Online marketing you WILL fall behind.

Reading the opening chapter of Nathan's book was painful, mostly because I had those same experiences. With apologies to Dickens "small business ownership is the best of jobs; it is the worst of jobs." The internet has narrowed the gap between large and small businesses.

Unfortunately here is the problem. Large companies have IT departments that are well versed in web sites, SEO, blogs and youtube videos. Small business owners are the head of every department.

This is where Nathan Big's Ultimate Online Marketing Guide has been a godsend. Many small business owners are overwhelmed already and trying to learn internet marketing is intimidating. Nathan has disected all the big words and brought it down to a step-by-step guideline. Nathan has also jumped ahead and is showing everyone has to position themselves in the move to mobile.

Small business cannot survive in this business climate without using the internet. Read this book and you will be thriving instead of just surviving.

I found Nathan's book to be very well written and it covers pretty much all of the basics needed for online marketing. I am already doing some of the things he suggested. I am now encouraged to put some of the other ideas into play. If you follow the author's suggestions, your business will at the very minimum increase its internet exposure. I will refer back to this book as I am marketing my Kindle book USED and RARE BOOKS THAT ARE WORTH A FORTUNE!.
