      Ich besitze alle 3 Alben von Veni Domine (Fall Babylon Fall, Material Sanctuary und Spiritual Wasteland), aber dieses ist das einzige, das ich mir öfter anhöre. Getragen-doomiger Metal
      mit wirklich originellen Ideen in JEDEM Song. Besonders nett ist auch das Cover-Artwork!

      This is, in my opinion, Veni Domine's BEST album to date. Let me elaborate:
      1. It is the heaviest, the drums are really loud in the mix and the guitars, quite second to the vocals in the mix, have a very heavy distortion which makes sound even heavier than FBF.
      2. It is epic, doomy, orchestral, progressive, classic influenced heavy metal. Thus it contains a lot of elements such as barroque flutes, Sabbath-esque riffs and pace, the obvious influences of Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus are there.
      3. The vocal performance is the best here, resembling a lot to Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate (when he was good and a god).
      4. There is no other christian album in the genre that goes up to par with this one.
      5. The lyrics are exquisitely penned: take for example ECCLESIASTES where they sing like King Salomon in first person. The choirs, arrangements and everything fits together to give this impression of gloomy, cathedral like, gothic atmosphere which goes perfectly with the sense of the lyrics.

      For fans of Sanctuary, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus THIS IS A MUST! One AWESOME item for a collector.
