Pressestimmen

A stress management book with a difference; it really covers all the angles and helps the reader to truly understand themselves before then arming them with everything they need to make positive and lasting changes. I loved how simple this book is to read yet has many powerful insights and solutions to being pro-active in managing stress and pressure. All the techniques shown are easy to apply in the workplace too in fact at anytime which makes it very effective in any stressful moment. The book covers all the basics of stress management plus so much more. It looks at areas I hadn't considered before such as how our thoughts and beliefs can create our stress and not just our external environment. I learnt a lot about myself and others. Great to use for managing workplace stress and managing your team more effectively. I liked how this book brought in other models such as NLP to understand and manage stress and that many of the strategies have been tried and tested so I know it really will work.

4.0 von 5 Sternen Stress Management Not so Stressful to read 21. Mai 2013
Von Fleur Madeline Pepper - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

A concise and user friendly style of writing, making the read a clear connection to pick up on key points when dealing with stress. This useful guide assists in the recognition of stress, examines strategies to manage stress and provides health information to support the alleviation of stress. The follow on with action planning and goal setting provides a positive and logical way to deal with stress generating issues. I would reference the work as a equilibrium generator for the condition of stress management. Finding balance, identification of stress, deciding on the strategies to apply and monitoring results for positive planning are the strong messages at work and certainly make a connection when applied as the writing conveys in unison.
