5.0 von 5 Sternen instant bookmaking fun! 29. Dezember 2008
Von Silligirl - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Once I brought this book home, I immediately started folding and cutting various pieces of paper and had a blast. I have many other bookbinding books, but this one brings a sense of joy and whimsy not found in the others. This is a useful book for kids and book artists alike!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Making Magic for Paper! 27. Dezember 2011
Von lar_student - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I stumbled across this book and thoroughly enjoyed following along with the instructions in this book. The easy to follow instructions helped me to transform a regular sheet of paper into something truly magical. It was a delight to read through and then to make my own creations. The author encourages experimentation and exploration of the paper throughout the entire process.Of course, some parts were frustrating to make simply because I was unaccustomed to these designs. But that's to be expected, especially when trying to learn completely new things.

For those bored or for those who are serious about finding new ideas for greeting cards or personal projects, this book is highly recommended!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Inspired paper fun ! 23. Oktober 2014
Von melissa a trigg - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I just received this book for my birthday and it is fantastic!! I love that is has written AND drawn step by step directions. This makes it really easy to visualize doing the projects ( however your brain works). It also has photographs of all the projects so you can get inspired! This book is not for someone wanting to do " traditional" forms of bookmaking (think multiple sewn signatures, covered covers and pressed text blocks) but rather for someone wanting to do fun ,easy and fast projects and forms of bookmaking. It includes pamphlet and stab binding as well as accordion, star and flip-flap bindings. This book also has paper toys. I think all artists will be inspired by this book and can use it as a starting point for their own projects or just as a start.

5.0 von 5 Sternen BUY THIS BOOK! 25. Januar 2016
Von Dooley - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
I cannot overstate how much I love this book. Everything about it is cool! It's divided into two sections, which are cleverly split out so that the book changes orientation in the middle so each section feels like it's at the "front" if that makes sense. The paper toys are especially magical - so imaginative. The projects are interesting and creative but not out of my reach in terms of technical difficulty, although you could attempt more complex versions of each once your imagination is going. I also really loved the examples presented in the book, they were really nicely photographed and diagramed, and I love that they each had more than one example so you could get an idea of different directions you could take for design. I absolutely love this book!
