Top. Nur zu empfehlen!

Gestern angekommen, heute durchgelesen.

All you need...
Is someone...
To write a letter to...

Today I want to talk about "Love letters to the dead" by Ava Dellaira and it was published at hot key books.

Laurels English class gets an assignment.
They should write a letter to a dead person and write whatever they want to.
For her first letter Laurel chose Kurt Cobain.
She thinks he's a well pick because Kurt died very young just like her dead sister May.
So she tells Kurt about what's going on in her life since May is gone.
Soon Laurel finds out that writing down her feelings and emotions makes her feel better.
So she goes on writing.
But not just to Kurt...
Laurel writes letters to other famous dead people like Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin and River Phoenix.
And so she tells them the story of her weird life full of happiness, sadness and crazy happenings.
But is this the right way to go forward and forget the past that will always be behind you?

I was totally fallen in love with this book!
Everything about it is just awesome and perfectly matching to the story.
The beautiful cover it's just a great eye catcher in every bookshelf but not just the cover is something to be proud of.
The story is so well written that you could take a step into Laurels world and watch the world through her eyes.
Sometimes this book is very touching and I felt every single feeling like Laurel would do.
Furthermore you can also learn something about famous dead people and their story's.
(For me as a German this fact was one of the most difficult facts!!!!!)
Even the design inside the book it's gorgeous!
Every chapter looks like the beginning of a new letter and in my opinion this is just super cute!
