Leatherman Luxury Tool Charge Del Rey

Includes certificate of authenticity and black leather holster, packed in a gift box; 25 year warranty for defects in materials and manufacturing.

Like King Midas, whose touch turned everything into gold, the artist Adrian Pallarols had his luxurious style also on the Del Rey, Leathermans luxury tool for the 25th anniversary, applied. Pallarol uses 18k gold for the handles and manufactures each piece with the unique Del-Rey design, signature of Tim Leatherman and the 25 year logo. Only 25 copies of this model are produced, whereby the exemplary offered here is the first of the 25 copies. The 18K gold used is a strong and brilliant alloy that will withstand the passage of time.

After burning and shaping the handles, it is started to gradually process the gold with different chisels. The representative gift box is made of polished acacia wood. The KOA tree is a rare species of acacia native to Hawaii. The general properties are very similar to mahogany. As it is found in natural form exclusively in Hawaii, the prices for this wood are very high.

      ... möchte man in die Welt hinaus schreien!

      So ein Fake. Dieses Butterfly-Messer taugt für den durchschnittlichen Nahkampfeinsatz soviel wie eine Tüte halbgekochte Spaghetti. Viel zu weich, die Goldklinge, und nicht mal hässliche Infektionen oder formschöne Schnittmarken können damit sinnstiftend erzeugt werden.

      Außerdem ist das Vorgänger-DeLuxe-Feature "Schafshodenstrohhalm" zuungunsten des vollkommen unnützen "Platinzinken-Kamms" ausgetauscht worden, sodass ein Alltagsbezug nun wirklich nicht mehr gegeben ist.

      Pfui, Leatherman, wasne Luftnummer!

      Beim Eintreffen des tools stellte sich heraus, dass ich aufgrund eines Fehlers die Vollgold Version 99,9% Gold erhalten habe.
      Mir ist daher die Hemdtasche, in der ich mein letztes Del Rey auch schon transportierte ( bevor es mir beim Vorbeugen in den Kanal gefallen ist ) ausgerissen. Das Gewicht von nahezu 800g reinen Goldes stellt sich doch als etwas unpraktisch dar. Als ich die Vollgold Zange beim Nachziehen der Radmuttern an meinem Klapprad verbog, entschloss ich mich es als "Leatherman defekt", - ohne Bild, da meine Digicam defekt ist- in einer Internetauktion zu versteigern. Na immerhin habe ich für das schwere Ding noch 32,70€ bekommen, davon kaufe ich mir das Micra, - das ist deutlich leichter und die Werkzeuge scheinen auch mehr auszuhalten.

      Die aktuelle Goldpreisentwicklung zeigt, dass ich alles richtig gemacht habe. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden und bereue meine Wertanlage nicht!!!!!
