Demons attack humans, and humans live in fear of them... Set off on a journey with a young woman known as 'the savior', to Raglis, far away in the west!
The story features a group of characters who on the surface have nothing in common, heading to Raglis, far away in the west. The group is made up of demons, humans, and half-demons, all with their own objectives, and in the group is a young woman known as 'the savior', whose a mysterious power has awoken...
[A World Populated by Demons and Humans] In a world where demons attack humans, the humans live in daily fear of them. Raglis, an organization working to help those humans, is preparing to welcome Sania, a young woman with the power to destroy those demons. Sania is known as 'the savior'. At one point, when Sania's life is in danger from the demons, a young half-demon called Shin suddenly appears, and his help allows Sania to escape. Shin and Sania, and an odd group of characters who on the surface have nothing in common, set out towards Raglis, far away in the west..
[Tactical Battles: Moving and Battle Arts] During battles, both enemies and allies can move around their own battle territory. This tactic is known as 'moving'. Also, items known as Battle Arts (BTA) can be placed in allied or in enemy territory, and have a wide range of effects. Enjoy technical and strategic battles by making use of both 'moving' and Battle Arts.
[Soul Arms and Orbs] Each character has a weapon called a Soul Arm. Soul Arms can grow and develop by using Soul Points, which are gained after battles. Also, by equipping a Soul Arm with an Orb, you become able to use an Occult Art corresponding to that Orb. Develop and strengthen your weapons to best fit your characters!
[Chances to get rare items, once every 30 minutes!] By using the Hourglass of Fortune, you can bring about bonus encounters, which are a chance to gain rare items, including Atoma Slips. You can use the Hourglass of Fortune once every 30 minutes, so by checking the app frequently, you might find yourself able to progress through the adventure more smoothly... By using Atoma Slips, you can purchase Soul Points and special equipment, etc. You can gain Atoma Slips from bonus encounters and while playing the game normally, but optionally, you can also buy extra Atoma Slips through an in-app purchase.
*This game features some in-app-purchase content. While in-app-purchase content requires additional fees, by no means it is necessary for finishing the game.

At first I was worried about the difficulty and I had struggles, this game is somewhat unbalanced I had to tip the balance in my favor but with buying the 1000 HP and 300 SP accessories (Not telling the names so to not spoil the game) and using soul points to power up my characters I am able to play this game somewhat better. I had struggles with Sein especially, he/it had a lot of hp which is out of balance UNLESS you're not meant to win that battle, it's tough. I suggest you level up to 27 before you take him on.
This game could use an update to balance out the party vs bosses. The Dragon demon you fight after that battle as a subsequent sidequest in that fort is a lot easier and it gives you more exp than Sein.
I have yet to complete the games, I think that if they had cloud saves through Live (Microsoft) would make their games more enjoyable because you can preserve your game saves in case of something like a corruption occurs or you want to play this across devices. I lost over 80 hours of game play across their games due to catastrophic losses.
Update 1: I have gotten a little further in the game, I spent another $4.99 in-app to buy some notes to buy rare items, and got a exp doubled ring. (Not that I do not know the name I do not want to spoil the game) And this game is moer fun now I am at the level I should be for the area I am in. I am at Porto Town now and this is where I have stopped for the day, and I enjoyed the challenge of locating something for a little kid, the story is getting better as I go along, first I thought it was a little bland, with the last part it started to get interesting. I hope when I make it to the place that is the goal so far it will start to be epic so to speak.
Enjoy, the nostalgia level is 7.25/10. Story so far 7.5/10 Nostalgic Graphics 7/10 More to be added as I go along watch this review

Some said they had to buy items to progress well in this game. I found this to be untrue. Although you could waste a couple dollars if you are impatient, i have obtained all of those "necessary" items for free by taking advantage. Dont want to spoil so i wont elaborate but suffice to say every thirty minutes (real time not game time) you get something for free depending on the luck of the draw from rare items to what amounts to "in-game cash". You dont even need alot of patience. So to sum it up, no extra hidden fees and a fun game u can sink your teeth, and hours of your free time, into. Definitely worth the dollar i paid for it. DEFINITELY lol

UPDATED REVIEW: I usually don't change my reviews but after spending a few months away from this game, and after playing the latest KEMCO games like Eclipse of Illusion, Crystareino, and Asdivine Hearts, I have to downgrade this one considerably. I thought Soul of Deva was good, when I thought that type of game was about all that KEMCO was capable of. Now I'd have to say that I would only recommend Soul of Deva IF you've already played every other KEMCO title, AND you're willing to be somewhat disappointed with the game.
The battles, while different from other titles, are not well balanced. Magic users can kill you, and are very hard for you to kill. Some parts of the story are really well written, but there's so much dialogue it's hard to keep track of it all sometimes. Adjusting your character's attributes is also kind of confusing, and a major pain in the neck.
So it's really not very well-polished - but it' probably still worth playing once, IF you can accept all the frustration of "Oh, why did they do it this way?"
I hope my initial review didn't mislead too many people into thinking this was a great game, when really it's only just okay.
I like the graphics and I hope this is a sign that Kemco is moving away from the ultra cheesy 2D RPGs that came before. Playing this game makes me more likely to buy Kemco's next title.
There are 2 things that can be really helpful in this game: the Hourglass of Fortune, and the Mysterious Sand. They both give you "bonus encounters," where you have a chance to gain some pretty awesome items. When using Mysterious Sand, SAVE your data before you use it. The item you get is completely random, and if you get something you don't like you can reload your game and try again. With a bit of patience, I used this method to get three HP +1000's, a 2X experience and a 2X money equip. Also got a ton of extra soul points, which made progressing in the game much easier. (And made in app purchasing completely unnecessary.) You can't save and reload on the Hourglass - but you can and absolutely should whenever you use Mysterious Sand. You will be glad you did.
UPDATE: I finally got around to beating the game, and have changed my rating to 4 stars. Overall the game's just not as "amazing" as I thought it was at first. I still like the graphics - especially in battle - but the overall experience is "good," not "great." Compared to other Kemco games, the graphics seemed to be an improvement, but the story just wasn't that exciting. I enjoyed the game, but it's not one I'll be wanting to play again.

Really Amazing RPG, long game, very good storyline, and final fantasy like battles. One gripe I have with this game is that the text can drag on for a long time. The beginning of the game had to be like 15 to 20 minutes of just clicking through text and reading what the characters say. Not a bad thing if you like following the story, but could get on someone's nerves if they just want to play the game considering there is no skip button. Even with that said it is definitely worth the money. 5 stars

Ok.. people here's the low down.. the time completed for me was under 48 hours..but took me over a week.. the games has more than most tablet games.. There are secrets and other special items as well..the story line is a little over drawn but for the most part it explained what this RPG is about.. very well thought out story... there are twist and turns in the story.. I loved the boat and really loved the flying contraption that you earn, giving you a chance to explore places you could not before... Also, don't forget to question the city people for quest to do in the game and find out where the super secret spots are that you may get too if your smart enough...lol...The graphics and animation were good but could have been a little better... I gave the game four out of five... At one point I even almost gave up due to the map difficulty.. I'm happy with this purchase and would buy it again... great job game makers.. keep it up...;)
