This recipe book was extremely informative and there really are some great recipes in here! What I really love is that there are recipes in here that utilize beets. That's amazing because there are so many health benefits for beets, and many of the other underrated vegetables that are in this book. I haven't had the pleasure of trying every recipe in this book yet, but so far I am absolutely loving what I have tried. The best part is that I can make juices that my four year old will drink and she has absolutely no clue that I'm sneaking vegetable in her juice!

I would like to mention that I did receive this ebook at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review of it. I think it is pretty amazing, and I love that many of the health benefits of each type of juice is included with the recipes. The only thing I changed when making my own juices is that I didn't add any salt or sugar to my own juices and some of the recipes do list those as ingredients. Mine tasted perfect without so I assume those are optional. Overall I would definitely recommend this ebook for any juicing beginner.

I feel in love with juicing in 2013. I watched Youtube video about a man cleaning his body out of toxins and detoxing as a whole, then to lose over 100 lbs. I didn't think I could follow his path but willing to do it for 3 days. Later I came across a free copy of this book last year (2014) and was happy since in 2015 I wanted to go back to juicing once I purchased a new juicer (nutribullet and juice machine). So there are some recipes I have tried and not bad at all, no Stevia needed, but if not too great, will add sweetner Stevia.

I also liked that it tells you what these ingredients used are good for towards healthy living such as constipation, IBS, GERD, gas pain like acid reflux, skin, etc. So will continue to try more in the future. Some studies or nutritionists argue that you lose your fiber when juicing but there are some vegetables and/or fruits I do not like to eat raw and prefer as a juice (for instance: oranges, peaches, grapes are some fruits I prefer juiced and are so good this way than eating raw; yet I know some prefer to eat them raw. Each its own.). I pull it up on tablet when need a recipe for some foods need to get rid of before molding or getting rotten! I will tweak according too (from another book that tells me the alternatives fruits can use in place).

This book is a lead to a video, which did not work when I went there, but for another $48.00 you can get another good deal of info. Juice ideas were OK , but no calorie count or carb count info.

This is a helpful little intro if you've never tried juicing before. Yes, some suggest adding sugar but you can leave it out if you want 100% juice or just add some raspberries or sweet fruit to make the juice sweeter. This is a good basic start but wouldn't be appropriate for anyone who has owned a juicer before or wants to get into more advanced and more complex recipes. Some of the fruits they use aren't basic things most people have available and I do question why for a beginner book they didn't stick to the most common 20 or so fruits and veggies and then create a second advanced book for people looking to branch out and try new stuff. I'm also not sure if it is recommended to put ice in my juicer. Overall though these recipes will give you a basic idea and get you started.
