Kurzbeschreibung

The Montgomery Ink Series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with the brother who keeps his secret and the one woman he shouldn’t want.

Everly Law married the love of her life and on the eve of giving birth to their twins, lost him in a tragic accident. Now she’s a single mother working overtime at her bookstore trying to make sure her boys have the life they deserve. Her life is busy enough without her adding dating a Montgomery. As past secrets come to light, she’ll need Storm more than ever—even if she doesn’t realize it.

Storm Montgomery has spent his life atoning for sins that only few know he’s committed. When he lost his best friend, he promised his widow that he’d always be there for her—even when she wanted nothing to do with him. But when a single touch ignites passions they’ve both buried deep inside, he’ll have to remember exactly who is in his arms and that taking chances might be far more dangerous than they bargained for.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book

Another brooding Montgomery? Yes please!!!!!
Storm Montgomery is one of the Montgomery twins and co-owner of the Montgomery Inc construction company that his father started. The man has a big secret and has been carrying around so long that I think its starting to get to him.
Everly Law is the widow of Storm's best friend. The three of them were all friends in college and remained close afterwards. When Jonathan died Ev was pregnant with twins and went into labor when she was told about his death. For the past three years, she has been a single mom and business owner. She doesn't like to need help from anyone, but especially Storm who is boys godfather.
Something hasn't been quite right between the two for a while and neither knows why.
First off Ev is a strong as h*** woman, any single mom is. You can see in the way that Ryan writes, that her boys are her life.
Storm loves those little boys like they are his own and will do anything for them and Ev. The two do not see the attraction that they have for each other, it's almost funny.
Second, secrets can't stay hidden forever whether you spill it yourself or someone from the past does it, they are going to come out.
Storm secret isn't as bad as he thinks it is, but it does lead him in finding a secret that isn't is own, one that could kill Everly.
I love watching two people come together and these two are no exception. It takes them a while to figure out that they are better together, stronger together, but they do. The Montgomery family is known for being bigger than life and pulling people into it and that is what they did to Everly and her boys before her and Storm got together. I will be sad when these series comes to a end, I'm really going to miss this family that you can help but fall in love with. However, I'm super happy that we will be getting a spin off with another branch of the Montgomery family and Ryan did a great job of introducing some of the new players with a family cookout.
Storm and Everly, finding love after years of friendship is a beautiful thing. Storm finally letting go of his secret and finding some closure is too. The final Montgomery, well Denver Montgomery, is going to be a doozy and I can't wait for Storm's twin to get his!!!!

Storm Montgomery is 1 of 8 siblings, he is also Wes' twin brother. Storm's best friend from college Jonathan married Everly, and Storm is with her the night that she receives the news that her husband is dead, this also lead to her going into labour - with Storm by her side. Everly - now a widow and a single mom of twins - does it all on her own refusing to ask Storm for help, even when he is constantly showing up. As they are both trying to fight their feelings for each other because "shes Jonathan's wife"/ because "he's Jonathan's friend" they find out that Jonathan wasn't the stand up guy everyone thought him to be. In the mix Storm has to reveal a secret to his family that he has kept for over 15 years, and someone is after Everly.

So let me start off by saying that I received an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review, but I also bought the book after its release because I just love this series. With each new release I re-read the series from the beginning so that everything is fresh in my mind when I get to the new book. And Inked Expression did not fail to meet the standard that each previous book has set. Storm & Wes have always seemed a bit mysterious and quiet in all the other books so it was great to finally see what he was all about. Everly is his perfect match. I also love the continuity with this series, just because Austin's book was first doesn't mean that he ins't constantly in the mix for each of the following books, and I love that. So many other series hardly mention other characters from previous books, but with Carrie Ann Ryan its more like focusing on one couple's story at a time while still weaving everyone else into the picture.

Storm was always loyal and putting his family and friends first. So when his best friend and wife (pregnant with twins) needed a repair he was there. Jackson was out of town for work and the twins were due within a couple of weeks. A knock at the door comes and everything changes. Jackson's plane has crashed and he's gone. Everly is stressed to the point she goes into labor. But like always Storm is right there for her. Fast forward three years and Everly is calling on Storm yet again. Her twins Nathan and James have struggled each with their own health issues since birth. Nathan's sever asthma while James has hearing lost. Although 3 in the morning when she calls needing him, he responds immediately. Their relationship is changing. But so are a lot of things for Everly. She has to deal with her new feelings for Storm, her children's health issues, annoying in laws, her beloved bookstore has been set on fire taking her only source of income, and oh! her dead husband's mistress and their 3 children. One being the same age as the twins. But she'll have all the love and support she'll need from her best friend Tabby and the Montgomery clan. She just has to open her eyes to see Storm has always been the man to be there without failure, and when he says I'm not going anywhere he means it. This is another must read by Carrie Ann Ryan, and you will absolutely fall in love with all of the Montgomerys.

Another hit for Carrie Ann Ryan! I love Storm and Everly. Storm and his twin, Wes, own Montgomery Inc, a construction company his parents started and left to them when they retired. Storm is lonely and carrying a twenty year old secret that only two others in his family know. Everly Law is the widow of Storm's best friend, Jonathan, and mother to three old twins. Everly owns a bookstore that helps provide the life she has with her children. She hates to ask for help or depend on anyone, especially Storm. Secrets from both of their pasts come back to haunt them. Storm and Everly learn they are stronger together than apart. They deal with the secrets together as their love and relationship grows. I love how Everly's twins want her and Storm to be together, so Storm can be their dad and become part of their family. I love how the Montgomery family pulls together in times of tragedy and has each other's backs. Once a Montgomery, always a Montgomery. Storm and Everly find love with one another after years of friendship. Love the Montgomerys!

I voluntarily read an ARC copy of this book and am leaving a review by my own choice. I also bought a kindle copy of the book.

I have always loved the Montgomery Ink series. I wait for the next one. I was not disappointed. Storm is a great hero for the story. You get to see into his past with Evelyn and how they have known each other since college. I liked how they had a connection outside of the family. Reading Storm's internal struggles about what he needed to share with his family, especially his twin Wes, made him more real as all of us have things we struggle with and it is hard to share even with those closest to us sometimes even more so. Evelyn is a great female lead. She is strong because she has to be as a single mom and though that is a strength it is also a bit of a weakness as she feels she needs to do everything alone. When she finally sees it is ok to lean on others it makes her and Storm's world even better. If you haven't read a Montgomery Ink book yet you are missing out. Once you finish this one head on back and check out the entire crew and side characters in the other novels and novellas. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read Wes and Jillian.
