This somewhat short guide would be useful for it's intended market (those that are considering crewing on a sailing vessel). It has lots of good hints & tips about things to consider before applying or being accepted to crew on a voyage. It has sections on mental preparation, financial considerations and where and how to find prospective skippers and yachts.
One of the best features of this book is a seasonal guide that with the aid of a world map shows the routes and time of the year that most sailing vessels set out to avoid the worst of the weather and to take advantage of the trade winds.
