I wasn't expecting this to be a full on sewing machine but after about two small seams the needle doesn't seemed to be aligned correctly and the device doesn't work anymore. It's a good idea in theory but inpractice the small power cable and or the need for 4 AA batteries make it more trouble than it's worth. At least it's not much money wasted.
With 15 euros and lots of patience, you may be able to do it. However, the machine is made in China, hence the quality is as we expect of a product made there and the handling of it is very bad. If you have the patience and eyes to magically put the threads through all those tiny holes, you may end up doing something. I tried to saw some jeans, it does not work, the material is too thick (twice the normal jeans material does not fit through)… it may work with silk, cotton, etc… not with wool, jeans, surely not leather and what they talk in the advertisement. I will try to use it for thin material, in the end it’s a 15 euros product, do not expect to do a job of a good quality and expensive one.
it arrived in an open box, the machine still threaded and a random scrap of fabric sewn all over was in the box with it, scraps and cut offs of strings in the box with it. machine felt greasy and had finger prints on it, as if it had been held right before i picked it up from the box. sews about 4 stitches before undoing itself and stops. better off hand sewing if you cant afford a proper machine
