Forced by an injury to leave his missionary work in Africa, James comes home to Chicago. There he meets Rachel, who carries the weight of a difficult past. This is a story about their trust in God, because in the end he has the best plan for their lives.
As Dee Henderson mentions at the end of the book, this was her second book ever written/published. It's a nice story about rich career women Rae pining for lost-to-accident-almost-fiancé-Leo and James the builder missionary on forced home leave. It has none of the excitement or drama of the O'Malley or Uncommon Heroes series - which I was also not expecting after reading the description. A nice afternoon read.
