“What a great idea to combine James Earls’ expertise and philosophy with Tom
Myers’ classic contributions to structural bodywork. This is the long-awaited expansion of the Anatomy Trains theoretical concepts into a clearly written, functional ‘how to’ manual that is a must-read textbook for all bodyworkers of all ranges of experience – not just structural integrators.”
—Art Riggs, Certified Advanced Rolfer® and massage therapist, author of Deep
Tissue Massage: A Visual Guide to Therapy Techniques

“Fascial release has never been made more understandable and achievable – a
well illustrated and excellent read.”
—Leon Chaitow, ND, DO, Honorary Fellow, University of Westminster, London
Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies
“This book is a thorough and refreshing approach to regional fascial release
—Erik Dalton, PhD, author of Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques®
“With a wonderful blend of art and science, this text brings together many
aspects of structural change grounded in anatomical precision. It lets you
see the relationships surrounding the body and how they link to produce the
various patterns you will see in your clients, equally importantly, it gives
you the strategies to address them.”
—Robert Schleip, PhD, MA, Director of Fascia Research Project, Institute of
Applied Physiology, Ulm University. Research Director of the European
Rolfing Association

HASH(0x8db81d38) von 5 Sternen Fascial Release for Structural Balance--Earls and Myers 20. Januar 2011
Von Arthur Riggs - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Although I commented on this book above in the critical reviews, I feel that it is appropriate to heap some more praise in a more informal and reader-oriented venue. The more I read (and re-read) the book, the more impressed I am at the eclectic combination of two great minds and bodyworkers. James and Tom do a fine symbiotic dance that exponentially expands their individual skills. My biggest concern is that only people who do structural integration will pick up this book to reap its benefits. "Fascial Release for Structural Balance" will be of great benefit to the beginning therapist specializing in relaxation work as well; it will open whole new vistas, not just with specific techniques, but more importantly, with enlightening one's deeper understanding of the human body that will improve the work in the whole range of manual therapies.

HASH(0x8db85c84) von 5 Sternen Great book on Structural Integration 3. Mai 2011

These highly effective techniques are presented in an easy to understand format, with clear pictures. There is also a brief overview of the Anatomy Trains to supplement the techniques and help build efficient plans for clients with different postural compensation patterns. This is one of the best massage books I have ever read!

I got this book about a month ago and it has already changed the way I massage in a significant way. My ability to BodyRead clients' posture has improved, even though I have read Anatomy Trains already. I never felt that I was that great with Fascial release techniques, but now I have been using them with everyone and it has been working very well.

HASH(0x8db81bd0) von 5 Sternen A clear "how to" to accompany Tom Myers' Anatomy Trains book 11. September 2013
Von Sandra S. Trapp - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
I bought this to show my various body workers so they could apply Tom Myers' myofascial release techniques on me. Very clear with photographs. Tom has held seminars in the area, but they can be cost prohibitive, especially for massage therapists. This isn't him, nor a video, but the next best thing. I was excited to see that he made this book when I was buying my second copy of Anatomy Trains (after giving my first to my chiropractor.). I'm not a body worker, but have used the techniques in this book to relieve my own trigger points. OH...the head fascia's connected to you foot fascia... What many doctor's couldn't explain or effectively treat is being resolved with myofascial release. This book, and Tom's efforts to research and put into print, his discoveries, have truly been an answer to my prayers

HASH(0x8db85840) von 5 Sternen for massage therapists 21. Dezember 2012
Von Smiley Bear - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

This book is great for massage therapists. It has a lot of good practical info to use on clients. Unfortunately I am not a therapist and can not do these releases on myself so I gave this book to my massage therapist and she loves it. Not a helpful book if you arent doing massage therapy.
