Diese Karten-Serie hat wohl ein Lüfterproblem. An der Leistung kann man nichts aussetzten, aber die Lüftersteurung hatte wohl Probleme. Ich hatte schon kurz nach dem ersten Betrieb im Desktop immer wieder ein aufheulen der Lüfter. Temporär konnte ich es durch eine angepasste Lüfterkurve fast lösen. Karte wurde durch EVGA in einer Woche getauscht. Hab eine andere (etwas bessere) erhalten -> Problem gelöst.
Danke an EVGA, topp Service, als meine GTX970 damals nach 3 Jahren defekt wurde habe ich innerhalb einer Woche eine GTX1060 als Garantie-Ersatz erhalten.

Die Lüfter + Lüftersteuerung ist sehr schlecht. Gehen bei 55 Grad ständig an und aus und machen dabei ein lautes klapperndes Geräusch. Anpassen der Lüfterkurve bringt nur bedingt was, weil sie dann ständig aufheulen wenn die Temp. ansteigt und sie sehr laut werden. Erste Karte ging zurück, hab jetzt schon die 2. Karte und selbes Problem. Der EVGA Support konnte nicht wirklich weiterhelfen bis auf das zusenden einer angepassten Lüfterkurve ist nichts passiert.

Der Lüfter dreht bei über 50°C immer direkt auf maximum, nur um sofort wieder abzuschalten sobald die Temperatur unter 50°C ist.

Generell ist der Geräuschpegel von Lüfter auch unangenehm hoch.

In dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich mir definitv eine bessere Lüftersteuerung.

Da ich noch innerhalb der gesetzlichen Rückgabefrist bin geht das Ding direkt zurück.

Bis auf den Lüfter gibt's nichts auszusetzen. Wer eine Top Grafikkarte für einen guten Preis haben will, und unempfindlich gegenüber der Lautstärke ist wird sicher Glücklich mit dem Gerät.

Gestern kam meine RTX 2060 super an.
Der Kühleraufau ist super durchdacht und bietet sehr gute Leistungsreserven.

Die Grafikkarte ist extrem leise, beim spielen kam ich gestern auf maximal 63°C.
Allerdings läuft die Grafikkarte gerade nur auf FullHD und 75hz (bis mein neues Setup fertig ist) jedoch auf Ultra Grafikeinstellungen.

Preis- Leistung finde ich ist die Karte genial. Die Metallbackplate lässt eine gute Wärmeabfuhr zu, solange das Case eine gute Luft zu- und Anfuhr hat.

Die Lüfter sind selbst auf 100% noch erträglich laut.

It does the job, playes any game without issue.
There's just some minor issues later, fans are noisy and there might be coil whine issues whichs gets pretty annoying. Can be fixed by setting limit to fps.
Its also too pricy, for a bit more, its better to get a 2070.

I previously bought the FE edition of the RTX 2060 Super, and found it to have loud coil whine and fans which cannot spin lower than 40% at idle. This is a big no no as sound is very import to me. I returned that card and decided to purchase this one as it was a similar price, size and warranty.

Positives:
- Silent at idle with adjustable fan speed using the EVGA X1 software. However, you will most likely need that software as, at default, the fans don't spin until around 50 or 60 C and you get the problem of them constantly turning on and off and getting an annoying noise with that.
- Only 1 8 pin needed to power it (helpful in my small form factor build)
- No RGB (yes.... that's a positive for me!)
- Performs great and temps are reasonable

Negatives:
- There is a noticeable coil whine at certain loads. For instance when I'm playing Destiny 2, there is minimal whine (I can still hear it without headphones in) when in a match, but loud whine when in the Tower (the hub area) - but this might be just because there is less game sound so I notice it more.
- The place you plug the 8 pin in is just over half way along the card, so in my SFF case I had to really stretch my cable to reach. This is because about 1/3 of the card is just an extension of the heatsink, where as on the more expensive XC cards it is a larger PCB and the plug is at the end of the card. This could be an issue in normal midtowers where the cable will be clearly visible in the center of the card. If you don't care about aesthetics then don't worry.

All in all a great card and brilliant if you need a dual slot / dual fan card as most other brands seem to be making larger 2.5 slots. Rated 4 stars not 5 simply because of the coil whine under certain loads.

Upgrade From GTX1060 3gb = doubled frame rates!

I added this to a new build based around the Ryzen 5 3600x on an Asus Tuff Gaming X570 Plus, with 16gb of DDR4 RAM.

Previously I'd been having trouble maintaining 60fps at 1920x1200 in most games at medium settings. That was with the GTX1060 3gb, which I temporarily housed in the new build, and the difference between that and the RTX 2060 super at 8gb was very significant.

In No Man's Sky I more than doubled frame rates, and was able to push the settings all the way up and still achieve the 60 Hz refresh rate of my (aging) monitor.

I just finished a playthrough of Horizon Zero dawn on Steam, with no technical issues of any sort, whilst running on ultra settings. A beautiful looking game, again reaching a solid 60fps+!

On Wreckfest I was able to have the grass on for the first time AND increase the resolution from 1400x900 to 1920x1200 AND set everything to maximum settings and still get 60 fps+

I'm not particularly noise sensitive, so I can't really hear any difference from the old card when playing games. I can hear it from time to time, but it isn't loud and it doesn't bother me.

I have not measured temps, but I've had no problems with the stock fans in a modestly cooled case.

The card is quite big, but it fitted into my case with no difficulty, and the power from the PSU was easy to attach.

Overall very happy, but that price point! Wow. PC gaming is expensive.

Taking his words as he is 31 years younger than me ... it’s awesome and runs so quiet I can hardly hear anything from it. Even when it’s really loaded with complex rendering going on it just does the job efficiently and quiet.

Like Jim said. I also bought an AMD 5700, try out team red. Nothing wrong with its performance but the drivers were buggy with the games I enjoy. The usual micro stutters and problems with v-sync settings.
I bought this EVGA card, no worries. Installed the latest drivers and it worked with all my games on ultra/highest settings straight out of the box. Looks sharp too in a windowed case. Setting up the RGB is also easy.
I'll stick to Intel and nVidia from now on. AMD's hardware is good no doubt about that but the software lets it down.

So, I ordered an AMD 5700 which was the most buggy bit of kit I've ever owned, after six days of trying to fix it, I gave up and returned it. Instead I bought this.

Plugged it in, straight away it worked, no hassle, no fuss, no RMA necessary - works flawlessly and beautifully. So pleased with the purchase, should have spent the extra in the first place and saved myself the trouble.
