5.0 von 5 Sternen Best EMDR Enhancement Yet! 23. November 2010
Von EMDR Therapist - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I've been an EMDR therapist since 1992. Recently, I read this book about dyadic resourcing. It is a huge contribution to the EMDR therapy field. With Dyadic Resourcing, we EMDR therapists can help so many more people than we could with EMDR alone. Dyadic resourcing is not like other forms of resourcing. It is highly effective with pretty much anyone, including people with personality disorders, and highly traumatized histories. It actually installs the same ability to nurture and protect oneself that people develop naturally when they have parents who are able to provide that. When people haven't had that experience, dyadic resourcing creates it. Phil Manfield has used it with people who've had multiple, horrific traumas throughout their lives, and he dramatically improved the quality of their lives. Dyadic resourcing isn't a long term therapy--it often can be done in a session, or a few sessions. In addition to teaching and demonstrating the technique through transcripts of sessions and commentary, Manfield provides the most coherent and thorough discussion of case conceptualization and target selection I've ever seen. Every EMDR therapist must read this book! It's as revolutionary and essential as EMDR itself. As owner of EMDRinAction.com, this book so impressed me that we interviewed Phil Manfield and posted the video results on EMDRinAction.com.

5.0 von 5 Sternen An essential for orofessional EMDR clinicians 9. Februar 2011
Von Herbert Cohen - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
This book covers resourcing in depth but has its strength in working with individuals with poor or no apparent resourcing. Dr. Mansfield writing is very clear and he has invited commentary from respected clinicians such as Jim Knipe. I have plugged in these techniques as I read them and they are each very effective. 5.0 von 5 Sternen Preparing Client For Trauma Processing 9. September 2014
Von Allen Kaplan - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Dr. Manfield’s book, Dyadic Resourcing, provides an essential element previously missing from the practice of EMDR therapy. Dyadic resourcing constructs and internalizes for the client the warmth and nonjudgmental love often missed by children of parents who were passive, neglectful, or abusive. The process that creates this resource also deepens the client-therapist bond. The creation of this resource facilitates more rapid processing of trauma. Dyadic resourcing is a great addition to the preparation and processing of trauma by EMDR. This book, with the inclusion of actual case transcripts, tells how it is done.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Practical and helpful 25. Dezember 2014
Von Esly - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
This book is very helpful with a step-by-step instruction for therapists to give vulnerable clients the resources they need in order to face their traumas and adverse childhood experiences. It is full of illustrations from the author's practice which also sheds light on how to do this. Many clients and therapists will benefit from this book.
