A Gallery of Heroes from Across Time and Space
The Doctor has been travelling through space and time for centuries, showing his friends and companions the wonders of the universe. From Sarah Jane Smith and the Brigadier to Martha Jones and Donna Noble, "Companions and Allies" celebrates the friends that have been by his side and the heroes that have helped him battle his deadliest foes. Beautifully illustrated and including, for the first time, a complete story guide to the adventures of all ten Doctors, "Companions and Allies" is the definitive guide to the Doctor's intergalactic family.

Doctor Who fans will really love this text, strong binding and composition and detailed - yet brilliant pictures inside this book. Filled with history and details of every friend and companion the Doctor has ever had or met - this collection of information will allow you to remember the finer details of those who trusted him, who met him, listened to him or ended up travleing with the Doctor.
It gives a nice retrospective of his almost 50 year travels and all the various personalities, professions and ranges of emotions that travel with him.
Organized alaphbetically in some parts and containing diagrams and very well printed pictures and scenes (both from the show and behind the camera) this book will teach you more than you remember watching the orginal series! There have been many people and species that have been on the inside of the T.A.R.D.I.S. - an here they all are!
I would also recommend this for those who might have difficulty keeping up with the show and knowing who is who - plus its a great reference when watching the show to know who or what the Doctor is talking about.
I plan to also use this book when I DM ('Dungeon Master') with the new Doctor Who Role Playing Game. If you are a true 'Whovian' - then you must get this book! 6-8-10
If you want to learn a bit more of all of the Doctor's companions or people he's worked with, TOTALLY pick this up!
