Praise for DIVERGENT: "The next big thing." (Rolling Stone ) "If you like Hunger Games & Twilight, then get stoked for DIVERGENT! Trust us on this-this baby is going to blow up BIG! And if you chose to remain factionless, then you're gonna be one lonely soul." (PerezHilton.com ) "A taut and shiveringly exciting read! Tris is exactly the sort of unflinching and fierce heroine I love. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough." Melissa Marr, bestselling author of Wicked Lovely "DIVERGENT is a captivating, fascinating book that kept me in constant suspense and was never short on surprises. It will be a long time before I quit thinking about this haunting vision of the future." James Dashner, author of 'The Maze Runner'

the way the characters are presented in the first book, left me reading like a maniac, because I felt as if being with them.. Book 1 was worth reading, I loved it, but with book 2 the misery creepingly started.. there are some flaws in the storytelling that I couldn't quite figure out until I finished reading book 3.. I still - and guess will never - understand why Roth ended up writing crap.. the whole thing doesn't make any sense in the end and she lets her character unfold sides, which made them less and less likeable to me.. I imagined Four as being strong throughout his whole body and mind as he is the one pushing Tris further and further until she is at her best.. In book 2 she acts stupidly at some points, but given that she is a teenager I could accept some of them.. but Four I believed was not being able to be manipulated by whoever it would be.. I thought despite "only" being 18 he was much more grown up than many of the older, but here it comes, she (Roth) brought him back to childhood/puberty.. not well done.. Tris I imagined to become stronger and stronger, not only in fighting.. and there she is, having become a stupid teenager leaving her complete brain inside the fence.. The outside world that is presented to them does not at all justify the ending at all.. what is going to happen to the world? the series left me hopeless, left me thinking everything happened for nothing, just that some people could survive their lives in a cage.. where's the greater good???
I also thought being Divergent meant more than it actually does..Lesen Sie weiter... ›
