Format: Taschenbuch
ganz o.k., mit vielen Übungen, aber trotzdem immer wieder das selbe Thema
es fehlen reale settings/reale Probleme, ist sehr theoretisch abgehandlet für ein exercise book

5.0 von 5 Sternen Very Helpful 9. Oktober 2016
Von Julie A. - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verifizierter Kauf
Very Informative book, gives clear explanations on the techniques and tools using CBT. Elaborated on each topic and gave wonderful, easy to understand examples. Hits the nail on the head with all the subjects and topics chosen, a perfect table of contents is offered. Once CBT is learned, this book can be used as a guide to review and make use of the techniques. I know I will read this book over and over.

3.0 von 5 Sternen so so for depression 7. Dezember 2012
Von W. Vogt - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
I think the "Burns" book ("Feeling Good") was better for depression. I got this and the workbook thinking that they might have more information or better explanations... but not so much. There were a couple of things where the Burns book had two or three ways of approaching something (or more), and this offered only one of those methods. And the chapter on depression wasn't as helpful as one would hope. Overall, pretty disappointed. If someone just wanted an overview or general reference for CBT... this may be great for that. If you're trying to solve a specific problem, I personally don't think it's as helpful.

5.0 von 5 Sternen An extremely informative, helpful book 23. Mai 2011
Von Harpswell - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
I've read Aaron Beck's book about CBT for depression, and some articles about CBT; but this book stands out for its easily readable explanation of what CBT is and the practical advice it gives. It covers a wide range of psychological problems too--depression, anger, lack of self-confidence, and others. Even if you seek professional help--which is also covered--you can benefit from reading this to understand how the technique works and how much it can help you.

It's like a cliff notes version of classroom textbooks. Good for adding a new perspective using non-technical terms.

4.0 von 5 Sternen Great So Far 27. Januar 2016
Von 007 - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
The product(s) arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, color, and it matched my expectations.

As a bit of perspective, I have a masters of science in forensic psychology and I find this book to be very useful and quite frankly, I should have read it while I was taking my courses (my wife purchased this for me as a joke). It isn't a joke and is very useful for it's intended audience, beginners and those still studying for their degree and those interested in learning more about a recommended therapy or just about psychology in general. I haven't finished it yet, when I do I will update my review as appropriate.
