The author doesn't seem to have anything to say and just asks a bunch of questions in this thin book. "What would it be like if women supported eachother"...etc. I really felt it was a waste of time. Maybe at one point in time these were revolutionary thoughts and questions, but not so much in this day and age. I also didn't appreciate that there were no exercises or "help" in following her in her musings and dreaming. Nothing concrete, functional or usable in daily life. Something poetic to read the next time you are vacationing near a stormy, cloudy sea overlooking the waves...and have a nap with.

This book opened my life to freedom - what I have sought my whole life. It confirmed and helped me put into words the feelings and losses I've experienced. It helped me take the high-road and realize that "it's worth every inch." I now seek to pass it on, daily as I work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Great book!
