Der seitliche USB-Port meines experimentell anmutenden Autoradio-Desktop-PCs hat den Geist aufgegeben – hinten ist aber noch ein Steckplatz. Ideal also, für dieses kleine USB-Hub. Ist sicher nicht herausragend wertig verarbeitet, erfüllt aber absolut seinen Zweck und hat keinerlei Aussetzer oder Verbindungsprobleme. Und in meinem Fall ist auch das nicht zu lange Kabel vollkommen ausreichend.

Ich habe diesen Prot nun ausführlich in sehr vielen Kombinationen getestet und bin begeistert. Sowohl USB 3.0 Geräte als auch USB 2.0 funktionieren tadellos an meinem Rechner mit Windows 8.1.

Verarbeitung:
Sehr gut. Das Gehäuse ist aus Metall und Plastik und fühlt sich sehr stabil an. Alle Steckbuchsen sitzen fest und wackeln nicht. Kabel und Netzteil sind gut. die Box wirkt stabil und haltbar. Eine blaue LED gibt Auskunft über die Stromversorgung.

Kompatibilität und Anschluss:
Ich verwende den Hub an einem PC mit Windows 8.1 und habe keinerlei Schwierigkeiten. Alle Anschlüsse werden erkannt und funktionieren, ich musste keine Software nachinstallieren. Das mitgelieferte USB3.0 Kabel zum Rechner ist mit 1m gerade noch lang genug für mich und funktioniert einwandfrei.

Verwendung mit USB 3.0:
Über USB 3.0 habe ich mit externen Festplatten Geschwindkeiten von 60 MB/s im täglichen Einsatz. Meine Festplatten funktionieren nur an den beiden Power-Anschlüssen (2 von 7), die eine höhere Stromversorgung zur Verfügung stellen. Dort verrichten sie ihre Arbeit aber einwandfrei.

Verwendung mit USB 2.0
Alle Geräte funktionieren an allen Anschlüssen einwandfrei. Ich verwende auch Funkemfänger von Logitech für Tastatur + Maus. In der Anleitung des Hub steht eine Warnung, dass diese Geräte nicht am Hub betrieben werden sollten, da die Stromversorgung den Funkempfang stören könnte. Bei mir funktioniert es aber einwandfrei. Es kommt jedoch zu ganz kurzen Unterbrüchen, wenn ich mein iPad gleichzeitig am Power-Anschluss lade. Hier ist sehr selten (vielleicht einmal alle 20 Ladevorgänge) mal für eine Sekunde der Empfang gestört. Daher finde ich den Hinweis in der Anleitung fair und richtig. für mich keine Abwertung.

Verwendung USB 2.0 und 3.0 gleichzeitig
Keinerlei Probleme oder Störungen. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei zusammen.

Verwendung der Ladeports
Ich nutze die beiden Ladeports mit höherer Stromversorgung zum Laden meines iPhone und iPads. Beides funktioniert absolut problemlos und mein iPad ist in 2 Stunden voll aufgeladen. Alle anderen Ports lassen sich während des Ladens normal weiter nutzen. Auch stromhungrige externe Festplatten laufen an den Powerports problemlos.

Fazit
Für diesen Preis bin ich absolut positiv überrascht. Ich hatte mit dem ein oder anderen Problem oder Einschränkungen gerechnet, aber der Port funktioniert besser als viele höherpreisigen Produkte. Die Verarbeitung ist ebenso hervorragend, über die Optik kann man sich streiten, mir ist aber Funktionalität und Verlässlichkeit wichtiger. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung und volle 5 Sterne!

Das Stromkabel ist ausreichend lang um die nächstgelegene Steckdose zu erreichen. Der Hub weist auch bei mehr Belastung keine Hitzentwicklung au. Bisher arbeitet er gut, zuverlässig und schnell.

Kleine Kritikpunkte meinerseits, die Stromanbindung ist auf der gleichen Seite wie das ausgehende Anschluss-USB-Kabel. Dies ist störend, wenn man mit einem Laptop arbeitet, dies Anschlusskabel ist nur knapp 20 cm lang.

Nachdem mein Laptop zwar 4 USB-Schnittstellen hat, ich aber gerne mit Maus, externer Tastatur, externer Festplatte, Scanner, USB-Stick, etc. arbeite, mußte endlich ein Hub her. Da einige Geräte angeschlossen sind, kam für mich nur ein Hub mit separater Spannungsversorung in Frage.

Geliefert wurde in einer einfachen aber passenende "braunen" Verpackung ohne viel Gedöns auf den Außenseiten, was ich durchaus positiv finde.

Der Hub macht einen soliden Eindruck, hinten sind 5 "normale" USB-Anschlüsse, seitlich zwei weitere, die wohl bei Bedarf besonders viel Strom liefern können (hier hängt zum Beispiel meine Festplatte). Der Hub macht einen guten Eindruck und ist auch auf dem Tisch hübsch anzusehen, bei mir werkelt er aber unter der Tishplatte. Hier kommt auch das einzige Manko: Es ist keine Wandbefestigung vorgesehen (Nuten/Löcher für Schrauben, etc.). Zwei (breite) Kabelbinder, mit Schrauben von unten in die Tischplatte geschraubt, tun es aber auch.

Positiv ist auch das vernünftige Netzteil, welches eben nicht nur ein Steckernetzteil ist wie so häufig zu finden. Unter Windows 10 läuft der Hub bei mir problemlos und wurde auch sofort erkannt.

Fazit: Der Preis ist in Ordnung auch wenn es China-Ware (und dieser wurde bestimmt auch in Asien hergestellt) schon deutlich billiger gibt. Funktion ist erstmal top, und die Optik ist auch ok.

Nachtrag 2017.03.11: Fast ein Jahr versieht der kleine Hub nun schon seinen Dienst unter meiner Schreibtischplatte, und er tut dies tadellos. Auch wenn ich von der ansprechenden Optik nichts habe, bin ich immer noch sehr zufrieden.

Dopo tutti questi anni, il prodotto, si è comportato egregiamente, anzi, non mi ha mai dato noie di alcune tipo. Alcune recensioni dicono che tende a surriscaldarsi, ma non è così, io lo uso al 80% della sua capacità di connettività, dove praticamente tengo due HDD fissi, uno da 20 TB e uno portable da 1TB, sia l'HUB, sia i prodotti collegati, non danno alcun problema di surriscaldamento.

Lo consiglio vivamente, un ottimo prodotto.

Conclusione:
L'Amazon Basics Hub a 7 porte USB 3.0 è una scelta solida per chi cerca di espandere la connettività del proprio PC o laptop. Offre un buon equilibrio tra numero di porte, velocità di trasferimento e facilità d'uso. Sebbene ci siano alcune piccole criticità riguardo all'affidabilità sotto carico intenso, nel complesso si tratta di un prodotto dal buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, ideale per un uso quotidiano senza troppe pretese.

Dopo tutti questi anni, il prodotto, si è comportato egregiamente, anzi, non mi ha mai dato noie di alcune tipo. Alcune recensioni dicono che tende a surriscaldarsi, ma non è così, io lo uso al 80% della sua capacità di connettività, dove praticamente tengo due HDD fissi, uno da 20 TB e uno portable da 1TB, sia l'HUB, sia i prodotti collegati, non danno alcun problema di surriscaldamento.

Lo consiglio vivamente, un ottimo prodotto.

Llevo varios dias usándolo y de momento muy contenta, lo compré para usar en un portátil (Mac) que tiene 2 entradas USB y yo necesito conectar 3 dispositivos (ratón, tableta gráfica y base refrigeradora) normalmente, era un lio tener que estar siempre sacando uno y poniendo otro. Funciona con los 3 a la perfección, he probado a poner también un USB para copiar archivos y lo mismo, sin problema!
Es pequeño, la longitud del cable con el enchufe son unos 25cm aprox. En mi caso, al tenerlo pegado al portátil no es un problema.
Tiene una luz naranja que está siempre encendida, solo se apaga cuando apago el ordenador. He visto alguna reseña que decia que se quedaba encendida incluso con el ordenador apagado, la mia desde luego se apaga.
En general relación calidad/precio cumple perfectamente. Lo recomiendo.

The item fulfilled my requirement. I was facing issues when i had to connect more than 2 devises with my Laptop. Now i can connect my headphone, 2 printers and mobile charger and work without any problem. The one issue with this item is that the cord length is not good, it should be increased.

Come tutti i prodotti Amazon Basics che ho provato finora, è molto valido. Compatto e leggero, presenta 3 porte su un lato e una sul lato opposto (comoda per quei dispositivi o penne usb un po' "larghe" che potrebbero ingombrare e impedire di utilizzare tutte le porte allineate). Ha anche un piccolo led arancione che si accende appena connesso al pc. Riconosciuto subito, ha forse come unico "difetto" un cavo non molto lungo (una ventina di cm circa). Attenzione alla velocità di trasferimento dati: come indicato in descrizione è un USB 2.0 ! A me va benissimo così, ma se serve un 3.0 non è adatto. Ho visto che è comunque disponibile, sempre della linea Amazon Basics, anche un hub usb 3.0, ma, ovviamente, a un prezzo superiore.
