      Da mein Ethernet-Anschluss an meinem Mainboard einfach so kaputt gegangen ist (am nächsten Tag ging einfach nichts mehr - echt seltsam, ich weiß, ist aber so), habe ich mir diesen Adapter gekauft, um wieder ins Internet zu kommen.

      Leider direkt wieder eine Enttäuschung:

      Anstatt 1GBit im Download bekomme ich nur 200-400 Mbit.

      Ich habe einen Internet-Speedtest und einen iperf3 mit einem lokalen Server gemacht.
      Beim Internet-Speedtest kamen von meiner 500Mbit Leitung nur noch 150-200Mbit an. Upload war es die volle Leistung mit 200/200Mbit.

      Beim iperf3 test (bei dem ich weiß, dass er mindestens 900Mbit erreichen kann), waren es im Download nur 400Mbit (ich kann mir aber nicht erklären, warum der iperf3 jetzt fast doppelt so schnell ist, wie ein normaler Internet Speedtest. Ich habe mit einem anderem PC gemessen und konnte ganz normal die 500Mbit erreichen). Im Upload gingen allerdings 950Mbit, also so ziemlich den vollen GBit.

      Ich schicke diesen Adapter wieder zurück und habe jetzt eine PCIE Ethernet Karte von TP-Link gekauft und hoffe, dass ich damit dann wieder die volle Leistung erreichen kann.

      ## Edit:
      Ich habe das Teil aus Frust auf den Boden geworfen (also nicht übertrieben aber sozusagen fallen gelassen..) und nochmal an meinem Laptop getestet und habe 900+ Mbit Up und Down erreicht. Dann habe ich es nochmal an meinen PC angeschlossen und dort auch meistens 900+ Mbit erreicht. Davor hatte ich es aber auch schon mehrmals ein und aus gesteckt und andere Ports probiert. Jetzt scheint es auf einmal zu gehen. Geht trotzdem zurück, da ich nichts haben will, dass nur geht, weil es einen Schlag abbekommen hat. Die PCIE Karte ist jetzt angekommen und funktioniert auf anhieb ohne Probleme mit 980Mbit up/down. Noch dazu war sie billiger.

      Etwas positives, was mir noch aufgefallen ist, ist, dass Wake on Lan mit diesem USB Adapter funktioniert, was mich etwas überrascht hat, nachdem ich gelesen hatte, dass das mit USB Adaptern generell nicht geht.

      I have an older Chromebook that I put Windows 10 Pro on so I could get more use out of it.       Compré este adaptador para jugar smash online en Nintendo Switch. Ojo que si planeas usarlo para lo mismo, necesitas la version usb 3.0 (o es 3.1? no estoy seguro). Al momento de la compra, seleccioné el modelo "Talla 0". El usb 2.0 es mas barato, pero leyendo otros reviews, parece que esa version no sirve con el Switch.

      En cuando a la unidad, se ve siente de buena calidad. El cable esta algo corto. Cable de red se vende por separado.

      Para configurarlo con el Switch, solo conecta la unidad al dock del switch, y el cable de red a la unidad. Es todo, el switch se conecta usando la red alámbrica por defecto. Si quieres confirmar, en el dashboard, le das en configuración > red. Puedes ver el estado actual y probar la conexión.

      Ya en el Smash, si tengo uno que otra pelea con lag, pero no tan seguido. Si recomendaría invertir en el adaptador.
