... but the plot is interesting enough and makes for an entertaining story. I would have rated it four stars rather than five as it obviously isn't Thor's best work. However, since people who obviously don't even like action thrillers (or really know the language) feel the need to provide a one-star rating, I think 5 stars are in order. If you don't like action thrillers, read something else.
One can tell how much research and work has gone into writing this wonderfully, exciting and fascinating book. The descriptions are clever and well written, and the story is paced the right way to keep the reader turning one page after another until the end of the story. The overall presentation of intriguing and colorful characters, catch phrases, intrigues, a succinct plot, appropriate dialogue and a well-observed narrative gave this story its peculiarity. The style is rare, recently seen in Triple Agent Double Cross. I applaud Brad Thor for this wonderful work.
Having bought and read this "book" I must say every cent and every minute spent on it was a sorrowful shame. Such trash is causing the bad image of primitivity and violance of a folk being as kind and generous as Americans are. The stupid military, intelligence and weaponery talk added to the abbreviation manie has nothing to do with literature even of the lowest level, which has been expected anyway. I can not comprehend how Amazon can put books by this primitive redneck on his shopping list.
