Naja die Tipps die das Buch gibt sollten größtenteils bekannt sein. Statt einem Apfel am Tag wird hier eine Bannane empfohlen. 30 Minuten spazieren am Tag oder täglich eine paar Fitnissübungen. Fraglicher sind dann schon die Tipps kein Kaffee mehr zu trinken oder ganz auf Zucker zu verzichten. Sehr zweifelhaft finde ich die Tipps jeden Tag eine Multivitamin-Tablette zu schlucken oder die Küche täglich zu desinfizieren. Gerade dass letzte dürfte eher schädlich als nützlich sein. Zuviel antibakterielles Putzmittel wird kontraproduktiv und man wird eher davon krank.

So weit so gut oder schlecht. Immerhin werden Tipps gegeben wie man diese neuen Angewohnheiten erlernen kann. dehalb gebe ich mal zwei Sterne. Die sehr fraglichen Tipps verhauen hier eine gute Note.

Well, the tips and habits to learn should be well known. Instead of "an apple a day..." the author is recommending a banana. Other things to learn are have daily walk or exercise very day. But there are also some tips which are more questionable. For sure its not bad to go without sugar and coffee at all. But if this make much healthier? But there also some really outdated and counter-productive tips like to sanitize the kitchen daily (!) because of the bacteria. This should harm your health more, then it would prevent any illness. On the other side the author gives you steps to make the new habit, which are sure helpful. But because of some rather bad habits, I give it just two stars.

A little book full of great ideas to introduce more healthy habits into your days. There are all the obvious tips, from drinking a lot of water to eating a lot of vegetables and fruits, but also some less well known tips, like eat a teaspoon of cinnamon each day. Nice and quick read for a rainy Sunday! But you know how it is with these books, it is not what you read that counts, it's your actions that will make the difference in your life!

This very practical approach to good health through instigating sensible habits into our everyday lifestyle is extremely helpful. As a 66 yr old male I am pleased with how I measured up by doing much of this instinctively, but there is always something new that adds value and I found that in Scotts book. It isn't hard and it is worthwhile in this sedentary, processed food era. Well executed and full of common sense.

I really enjoyed reading this book and learned a lot. I didn't realize improving my health could be so simple before reading these simple facts. I now keep a list of the simple ways to stay healthy on my refrigerator so I can remind myself each day to eat what's on the list. Simple and very effective! 70 Healthy Habits is a must read for all ages.

70 Health Habits is a good compilation of healthy activities/actions that can be implemented to:
1. add value to your life
2. add quality to yuor lifestyle
3. help to overcome present [and potential] health problems.

This book has a mixture of health advice from exercising to dieting to safety. The book is easy to read and the ideas are vshort blurbs that take only less than a minute to read. Steve Scott then includes the actionable items at the end so that people can put it into action right away. The book has a lot of useful information such as eat a tablespoon of cinnamon every day, advice for cutting down on sugar, or using acupressure to relieve headaches. There were a few of the ideas that I found to be out of place such as "Wear your seatbelt" and "wear protective eyewear." Not all of the health ideas will of course appeal to everyone as more than twenty of them I briefly scanned over.

I found the material could have been organized into "sections" such as Fitness, Dieting, Losing Weight, or Safety. This would make it easier to go back and just jump to the area you wanted to reference on. Other than that, an overall nice comilation of actionable habist that can add significant value to your lifestyle if followed through consistently.

Very practical book. I've used it to developed a list of daily habits and added them into my to-do manager. Most of them are common sense but the way these are presented is top notch.

It's a very quick and practical read, closer to an educational class or course than a book (almost no theory, all practice).

Your health is your greatest asset and this book is fantastic at helping you to stay on track. He gives some fantastic tips and includes an explanation and action for each one of them. I learned a few new things and also the importance of continuing in some of the healthy habits that I've already incorporated in my lifestyle. I definitely would recommend this book for anyone that wants to have healthy habits in their life!
