Habe regelmäßig mehrere GB große Dateien zu sichern. Die SSD erhitzt schon nach kurzer Zeit, ein paar hundert MB, in den roten Bereich und wird nach Crystal Disk Info mit deutlich über 70°C gemessen - und ja! Sie ist heiß. Dann fällt die Leistung auf ca. 60 MB/s zurück. Also zurück geben. Dank Amazon problemlos. Habe jetzt Samsung 860 EVO im Einsatz. Auch nach mehreren GB nie über 65°C, Speed bleibt an SATA 3 bei 260 MB/s.

Ich hab die Platte für mein Betriebssystem genutzt. Sie ist schnell und tut was sie soll. Die ca. 224 nutzbaren GB werden sehr schnell knapp, das ist aber ja kein negativpunkt der Platte.
Der 1 Stern rührt daher, das nach nur 2 Jahren die Platte plötzlich als unformatiert und leer erkannt wurde (sudden death) . Zwischen dem letzten Nutzen und dem Fehler lagen nur 3 Stunden, die smart parameter zeigten 98% "gesundheit"
Mein PC ließ sich entsprechend nichtmehr starten, alle Daten sind weg.
Finger weg, es sei denn man liebt das Risiko eines morgens aufzuwachen und kein nutzbares System mehr zu besitzen.

Edit: Der Support hat ursprünglich Ersatz versprochen, nach dem Einschicken haben sie sich allerdings auf die SMART Werte berufen und sehr unhöflich reagiert, warum die Platte denn überhaupt mit guten Werten enigeschickt wird. Auf "10 Jahre Garantie" ist entsprechend wohl kein Verlass.

Mein (inzwischen 15 Jahre alter) Tower war – so dachte ich – ein Fall für den Wertstoffhof: es dauerte eine gefühlte Ewigkeit, bis Win7 hochgefahren war, neuere Programme (keine Spiele) liefen sehr zäh, alles in allem war es keine Freude mehr. Dank der Transcend SSD erreicht mein Tower jetzt ungeahnte Geschwindigkeit: Win7 ist in wenigen Sekunden hochgefahren, auch alle anderen Programme stehen innerhalb weniger Sekunden bereit. So macht das wieder Spaß. Dank der Clone-Funktion von Transcend (Software gibt kostenfrei es auf der Homepage) konnte ich die Systempartition meiner alten Festplatte 1:1 übernehmen. Die alte Platte dient jetzt noch als Datenspeicher, Betriebssystem und Programme starten von der SSD. Bestimmt gibt es leistungsstärkere, schnellere und größere SSD, aber für meinen Zweck sind die 50 Euro hier gut angelegt.

Habe die Transcend 240GB SSD als Austausch für die originale Festplatte verbaut. Windows startet damit etwa in 20 Sekunden (geschätzt). Das ist ein deutlicher Zeitgewinn gegenüber der alten mechanischen 2,5" Festplatte. Gerade ältere Laptop und PC's können damit deutlich in ihrer Performens gesteigert werden.
Es mag nicht die schnellste und tollste aller SSD-Platten sein, aber sie ist sehr flott und in den Wochen die ich sie benutze ohne Tadel. Als günstige Aufrüstkomponente für mich ein Tipp. Ich habe im Desktop PC eine Samsung, die ist bisschen schneller, aber im normalen Gebrauch nicht zu spüren. Erst wenn viele Daten bewegt werden (hunderte von Fotos oder einige Videos) und man auf die Uhr schaut, mag eine andere Platte besser sein. Dies dürfte aber schon in Richtung Professionelle Bearbeitung gehen. Für mich reicht es und ich bin mit Transcend 240GB SSD sehr zufrieden. Für mich eine Empfehlung.

Nach gerade mal 4 Monaten ist mein Win 10 abgestürzt.
Und wie immer endet das Rückgaberecht einen Monat davor.
Laufwerksreparatur mehrfach fehlgeschlagen. Neuistallation nötig auch danach läuft das system nicht mehr richtig
dauerhafte Abstürze, Freezes u.s.w
Meine alte Festplatte hat 5 Jahre nahezu problemlos ihren dienst getan im täglichen Einsatz als TV-PC.
Muss mich jetzt nach qualitativ höherwertigen Ersatz umsehen.
Dankeschön Transcend nie wieder so einen Müll.

Schnell... zu schnell kaputt

SSD wurde im April 2018 erworben. Jetzt Anfang Februar hat sie das zeitliche gesegnet. Gerät war als Systempartition in Verwendung bis der PC meldete, dass kein Bootmedium erkannt wurde. Habe sie dann an einen anderen PC angeschlossen, um zu überprüfen, ob der Fehler tatsächlich an der SSD liegt... und siehe da, SSD wird zwar erkannt, jedoch als unformatierter Speicher und eine Formatierung wird sofort wegen Hardwarefehler beendet.
Bin ich eigentlich selber schuld, wenn ich so einen billigen Mist kaufe!

Was soll man nach einer Woche gross schreiben? Die Platte kam schnell, lies sich einfach anschliessen und funktioniert einwandfrei. Wenn alles so bleibt bin ich zufrieden. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich hochwertig an, was nach dem Einbau aber nichts mehr bringt und die Platte fühlt sich sehr leicht an, jedoch hatte ich keine ähnliche SSD zum Vergleich. Für tiefere Tests von SSDs bin ich nicht geeignet.

Mein HP P6 Notebook mit einem i3 Prozessor ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Windows 7 startete enorm langsam. Die SSD bringt hier wieder einen deutlich fühlbaren Geschwindigkeitsgewinn beim Start und der normalen Nutzung. Programme öffnen sich wieder sofort. Es macht wieder Spaß mit dem Notebook zu arbeiten. Die 240GB reichen mir für Windows, Dokumente und Surfen im Internet vollkommen aus. Die 60 Euro (aktuell) haben sich gelohnt. Daher 5 Sterne.

ｻﾝﾃﾞｨｽｸより総合的なﾚﾋﾞｭｰの良かったこちらの商品を購入。

商品到着後すぐにｹｰﾌﾞﾙを繋いで起動。
すると、OSのｲﾝｽﾄｰﾙﾃﾞｨｽｸを入れていないのに何故かWindows10が起動しました。
最初何が起きたのか理解できず、ｷﾂﾈにつままれたような気分でした。

よく確認してみるとWindows10の64bit版ﾌﾟﾛﾌｪｯｼｮﾅﾙが12GB程度容量を消費してました。
ﾗｲｾﾝｽ認証はされておらず、試しにｲﾝｽﾄｰﾙしようとしていたWindows10のﾗｲｾﾝｽｷｰを入力すると
ｱｸﾃｨﾍﾞｰｼｮﾝ出来ました。

製造は2018年8月で比較的新しいﾛｯﾄの物のようで、
CrystalDiskInfoで確認してみると起動時間・起動回数共に数時間・数回でしたので
中古品というわけではなさそうです。

起動時間は非常に早くなり大変満足ですが、
最初からｲﾝｽﾄｰﾙされていたWindows10が気持ち悪いですね。

相性が悪いと認識しない。 LPMも未対応。

８年ぐらい前に買った DELLのノートPC（Inspiron 1545）をSSD化しようと、このSSDを購入しましたが
残念ながら BIOSの段階で「HDD：none」の表示が出て、全く認識されませんでした。

そのPCが古いのでSSDに対応してないのか？とも考えましたが
試しに別のSSD化してあるマウスコンピューターのノートPCから、バックアップを取った上で
中にある SSD（Crucial：CT275MX300SSD1）を取り出して、
そのSSDを上記のDELLのPCに取り付けたところ、特に問題なく認識して
バックアップ（システムイメージ）から復元もでき、結果的に SSDへの換装となりました。

次に、DELLのPCでは認識されなかったこのTranscendのSSDをマウスコンピューターのPCに入れたところ、
問題なく認識され、バックアップからの復元もできました。

他の方もレビューで指摘されてますが、こちらの製品は PCとの相性の差が大きいようで
場合によっては、私みたいにBIOS上ですら認識されない状況になるかもしれませんね。

上記の中に入ってるSSDが Crucial：CT275MX300SSD1 からこの Transcend：TS240GSSD220S に代わった
マウスコンピューター上で「CrystalDiskMark 5」を使い、性能テストをしましたので
結果を画像で添付しておきます。（最初の画像が Crucial で、次の画像が Transcend ）
ほぼ同じぐいらいの容量の Crucial のSSDと比べても少し性能は低いようです。
まあ、値段相応の性能差でしょうか。

あと、他の方が誰も触れてないようなので、参考までに書いときますが
あるツールを使って確認したところ、
このSSDは省電力機能であるLPM（HIPM）には未対応でした。
なので場合によっては、いわゆる‘LPM病’ ‘LPM問題’が発生して画面が‘ぷちフリーズ’する可能性もありますので
SSDの寿命を延ばす意味でも、念のため「LPM問題対策」を施してたほうが良いかもしません。
やり方は、少しレジストリを弄った後、電源オプションの設定を変えるだけです。
詳細は「LPM　SSD」でググってください。

Although i use windows 8.1 on my laptop i still had a spare hard drive with the Windows 10 upgrade installed, i keep this updated and might one day use it instead of 8.1, with this in mind i looked for an SSD as using Win 10 on a 5400 rpn hard drive was sometimes like wading through treacle

the main reason for choosing the Transcend was price but also because i have had experience with the brand and their support is second to none,as soon as the drive arrived i installed it in my laptop and used a usb caddy to connect the original drive to the laptop, using Acronis cloning software i cloned the hard drive to the SSD which took around 30 minutes, when it had finished i rebooted and in less than a minute had Win 10 running as usual but much faster, it has noticeably improved the overall performence of the laptop with app's now opening in a couple of seconds at most, the Edge browser now opens in just one second,as soon as it is clicked on it on the screen ready to go

the SSD itself came well packaged and was very well protected in the box which also contained spare screws and an installation guide and a warranty card, i registered the drive on the Transcend website which activates the warranty,from the website i also downloaded the SSd Scope software which allows many different options from testing and benchmarking to getting the full specs of the drive etc, it will even download any updates for you

also available for download is a free recovery programme which can recover deleted files etc from any drive

given that my laptop is only Sata 2 i will not be getting the full Sata 3 performance from it but it has improved the Windows 10 experience enough for me to make it a sound purchase, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking to improve a sluggish pc

I needed high speed, compact data storage for a large data set (±400Gb total) that I only run occasionally. I wanted dedicated storage for this app only external to my Mac. I excluded Cloud storage as I sometimes need to use it in areas with poor no internet..
So far the Transcend SSD has met all my needs. It was easy to reformat and data transfer was rapid. I obtained the right SSD capacity at an acceptable price. It is light and easy to carry when traveling.
My reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is because it is still relatively new and I do not yet know how reliable and durable it will prove in the longer term.

Bout this to change my old HDD to an SSD.
The HDD was 1TB but on its last legs & I didnt need that much space so settles for a 240GB SSD.

Easy install, just added the new SSD to the other SATA channel, then cloned the HDD to the SSD using a free package called "AOMEI Backupper Standard 5.3". (Google it).
It tries to sell u the pro version but dont buy it just use the standard Clone button.
