Profisoftware zum "Nulltarif"

Ich nutze Office nun schon seit der ersten MS-DOS Word Version. Was hierbei immer ziemlich nervte, war das Lizenzmodell - einige hundert oder sogar tausend Euro und dann nur auf einem PC installierbar. Trotzdem hat man das bezahlt, weil es eben eine sehr produktive Software ist.
Mit dem neuen Lizenzmodell darf man das Office ansich fast auf beliebig vielen PCs und Android Geräten installieren (5 PCs und n Androids pro person)
Ich hatte bisher die MS Office Single Subscription und war damit sehr zufrieden. Fast von selbst konnte ich meine Dokumente, Excel-Sheets usw. auf jedem Gerät nutzen - ohne irgendwas magisches dafür zu tun. Dies ermöglicht das "Onedrive" Cloud Laufwerk, dass mit 1TB pro Person üppig dimensioniert ist. Zum Vergleich, bei Google meckert die Cloud bereits nach 15GB und fordert dazu auf, Daten zu löschen - die dann auch auf dem Gerät gelöscht werden.
Ich wollte dieses TB eigentlich etwas erweitern oder einen anderen Provider mit Cloud nehmen um diesen Überall-Speicher immer verfügbar zu haben. Die Preise dafür erscheinen aber absurd! 9,99€ im Monat für 100MB Cloud. Das bedeutet.. 20€ mehr als bei Microsoft für 6 x 1TB Cloud plus zusätzlich Office für die ganze Familie!
Dank Black Friday bin ich jetzt bis ende 2026 versorgt! :-)
Ach ja.. wer Microsoft single hat, kann locker auf familiy upgraden - die verbleibende Single Zeit wird wertmäßig umgerechnet und auf family angerechnet.

Unschlagbar günstige Cloud, dazu noch Office für unsere Familie

Wir sind Eltern mit zwei Kids, und dieses Produkt deckt unsere Wünsche vollständig und günstigst ab. Seit Kurzem sichern wir alle Fotos unserer 4 Smartphones nicht mehr bei Google, wo wir speicherplatzmässig immer arge Probleme hatten. Mit der Onedrive-App am Handy sind die Bilder genauso wie von Android gewohnt automatisch auf der Cloud. Es sind eigentlich 6 Clouds und jede davon hat 1 Terabyte das ist für mich sensationell viel und das um diesen (Aktions-) Preis für ganze 15 Monate. Die Office-Pakete für jeden der möglichen 6 User kann man je User auf bis zu 5 Geräten installieren, das ist auch für fast jeden Bedarf üppigst.

Da wir unseren Haushalt seit mehreren Jahren auf papierloses Büro umgestellt haben und ich bald in Pension gehen werde, fällt die bisherige Datensicherheit durch Auslagerung von Backups auf einer externen Festplatte bald weg und außerdem war das ohnehin immer sehr mühsam. Nun habe ich alles in die Cloud gespielt und da in den noch extra verschlüsselten Tresor von Microsoft, der mit mehreren Verschlüsselungsmethoden gesichert ist, unter anderem Bitlocker. Das Alles geht ohne dass man dafür Knowhow haben müsste, direkt bei MS. Wer darüber hinaus noch mehr Sorge um seine Daten hat, beispielsweise, weil die Upload-Leitung angezapft werden könnte, kann mit Freeware-Verschlüsselung (beispielsweise Cryptomator) schon vor dem Upload verschlüsseln. Ich habe das auch probiert, das geht sehr gut, aber wir brauchen das nicht.

Die Kids haben Office 365 ohnehin in der Schule, aber nun arbeiten auch wir beiden (Eltern) mit diesen Programmen. Das ebenfalls beiliegende Norton haben wir derzeit nicht in der Verwendung und ich überlege noch, ob es uns das wert ist, auf diesen Anbieter zu wechseln - er soll ja, wenn man so die anderen Bewertungen liest, als recht rechenintensiv (schlecht bei Gaming) und auch ziemlich fordernden Werbemaßnahmen auffallen.

Noch etwas:
Auch das Verlängern des Pakets geht nach Ablauf mit diesem günstigem Amazon-Angebot, und das lediglich durch Eingabe des Aktivierungskeys. Es gibt also keinen Grund, direkt bei MS und viel zu teuer zu kaufen.
