Hatte bisher eher günstige Smartphones aus China. Jetzt sollte es was richtig gutes sein...
Bin sehr angenehm überrascht! Nach dem Einschalten binnen 5 Sekunden hochgefahren, Gesichtserkennung und Fingerabdruck einwandfrei. Top Kamera und viele Kleinigkeiten, die die Benutzung vereinfachen. Auch das Überspielen aller Apps u Daten vom bisherigen Smartphone is top gelöst: die SIM-Karte bleibt vorerst im bisherigen Smartphone und über WLAN meldet man das Google-Handy über den Google-Account an. Alles transferierenund dann die SIM-Karze ins neue Handy. Einzig die Bank-Apps muss man löschen u neu aus dem App-Store laden und von der jeweiligen Bank wieder freischalten lassen. Aber dieses Procedere finde ich beruhigend! Volle Empfehlung für das Pixel7pro!

Anfangs war ich skeptisch, weil es für mich neu war, aber nach 1 Woche will ich es nun nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Obwohl ich (das ist aber meinem Gusto geschuldet) mit der doch relativ sehr glatten Rückseite noch leichte Schwierigkeiten mit der Griffigkeit hab, es rutscht immer mal wieder aus der Hand. Im großen spielt das aber keine sehr große Rolle mehr, da ich Abhilfe durch eine passende Smartphone Hülle hab. Was mir äußerst Positive aufgefallen ist, die Bedienfreundlichkeit der einzelnen Apps und das Navigieren zu den einzelnen Menüs. Die eine perfekte Funktion gibt es nicht für mich, da ich mich nicht entscheiden kann, welche das wäre, weil ich sie alle genial finde z.B. die Musikerkennung (Shazam ist Geschichte für mich) ist diese Funktion aktiviert, reicht es nur in der Nähe, eines Fernsehers, Radio's zu sein und es wird einem der Interpret nebst Titel angezeigt und kann mit der YT Musik App (auch in der kosten freien Variante) kann man sie gleich abspielen und sich so seine Playlist zusammenstellen. Was für mich noch der Gewöhnung bedarf ist das ich leider die Apps nicht in einen Ordner organisieren kann, ich kann sie nur Stapeln und sie bleiben zusätzlich noch im Homescreen erhalten. Bei Samsung ist das ja anders, da kann sie in einen Ordner verschieben und kann die überflüssigen dann entfernen (nicht Deinstallieren meine ich) hier bei dem Pixel geht es nicht, was ich u.a. auch bemängle ist das kein Adapter zum Laden mit geliefert ist, es zwar einer dabei, der wird nur zum Übertragen von Daten des vorherigen Smartphones gebraucht und ist zum Laden nicht geeignet, hier könnte man Abhilfe schaffen zumindest für das Pixel 7 pro (weil es ja teurer als Pixel 7 ist). Was noch auffällig ist, dass es breiter, schwerer und etwas länger ist als das S21, wobei mir die Kopflastigkeit als etwas sehr stark aufgefallen ist. Heißt, wenn man es in der Hand hält und es ragt über die Fingerkuppen hinaus, kann es passieren, dass es vornüber fällt. Wer jetzt Schwierigkeiten mit seinen Fingern durch z.B. Arthrose hat, der sollte vorsichtig sein und die Hand neigt bei zu langem in der Handhalten zum Einschlafen der Finger, weil es sehr breit ist. Positiv fiel mir auf bei Telefongesprächen gerade in Verbindung mit dem Freisprechen während des Autofahrens, die sehr gute Qualität mit der Verständigung mit dem Gesprächspartner, es war sehr klar, kein Rauschen und verzerren durch die Umgebungsgeräusche wie z. B. beim S21, auch die Akkulaufzeit ist in meinen Augen deutlich besser als bei meinem Vorgänger Smartphone, dem S21. Wer also etwas Geld sparen möchte und viel Leistung für das Geld, für den ist das Pixel 7 pro (899 €) eine sehr feine Sache. Gegenüber dem Galaxy S-23 Ultra mit 256 GB für 1399 €. Was noch erwähnt werden sollte, man hat ein echtes Android-System, wo kein One-UI darüber gestülpt ist und man bekommt deutlich eher die wichtigen System-Updates wie z.B. das baldige Android 14. Ich kann nur sagen, für mich ist es das perfekte Smartphone, der Kauf hat sich ausgezahlt.

Szybkość działania, zdjęcia po prostu rewelacja. Jednyne co rozczarowuje to to, że potrafi się nieźle nagrzać przy prostych rzeczach jak przeglądanie instagrama czy internetu. SoT mimo baterii 5000mAh też nie jest jakiś rewelacyjny zwłaszcza przy używaniu dwóch kart SIM + eSIM jednocześnie i przy korzystaniu neta w trybie mieszanym tak 40% Wi-Fi 60% LTE. Przy 100% baterii o 7:30 rano, tak koło 18:00 zostaje jakieś 27% naladowania akumulatora. Skaner odcisków palcow też czasami potrafi nie zadziałać jak powinien, nie mniej jednak działa bardzo szybko. Odblokowanie twarzą też jest bardzo szybkie ale przy dobrym oświetleniu. Gdyby ktoś się zastanawiał, to telefon już bez problemu obsługuje 5G i VoLTE w Polsce.
Ja jestem ogólnie bardzo zadowolony. Ocena tak 4,5/5 za to grzanie się.

Ich muss gestehen, ich bin sehr enttäuscht von dem Google Pixel 7 Pro. Der Akku ist wirklich schlecht und ich muss ihn viel öfter aufladen als bei anderen Handys. Aber das ist nicht das Schlimmste. Die Hauptfunktion eines Handys ist für mich immer noch, dass es gut zum Telefonieren und Texten geeignet ist. Bei diesem Handy habe ich jedoch das Gefühl, dass die Kamera wichtiger ist als die eigentlichen Funktionen. Die Kamera ist definitiv gut, aber ich habe mir ein Handy gekauft und kein Kameraequipment. Ich würde das Google Pixel 7 Pro auf keinen Fall noch einmal kaufen.

I upgraded from an Honor 9 that I'd had for nearly 5 years. I bought it through the Amazon Wearhouse in like new condition for a great saving and it was pristine!

This phone is amazing! I love the photo quality and editing ability. The built-in assistant that I've set a morning routine that sets an alarm, tells me a joke, my plans for the day and then plays my Spotify playlist. It's fast for browsing social media and playing games too. I also really like the keyboard response when you're typing. Fingerprint sensor and face recognition work brilliant and the battery lasts all day. Charging can take a bit longer than my last phone, but hopefully that will preserve the life of the battery.

So pleased that I've chosen this phone and I hope it lasts as long as my last one!

I previously had a Pixel 5 for about a year and a Pixel 6 for a short while.

The Pixel 5 was pretty flawless at the time - despite its less powerful SD 765G CPU and I really enjoyed my time with it. Such a lightweight and single-hand-use friendly device with nice screen, physical fingerprint reader, wireless charging and great camera.

The Pixel 6 was also a nice phone with great camera but I had to return it unfortunately due to the terrible fingerprint reader. I wasn't willing to forego using biometrics in 2021 and have to constantly enter in my pin code to unlock and passwords for banking apps etc.

I ordered this Pixel 7 Pro as it was on sale for a great price and also offered £125 guaranteed trade-in for an old phone I had laying around - making the deal even better.

I was really looking forward to using the phone - especially to test out the camera.

The first thing I did after opening the box was to upgrade the phone to the latest January Android 13 release.

It is a good phone - don't get me wrong but unfortunately I was plagued with the dreaded fingerprint issue again. It has definitely improved over the Pixel 6 but just isn't 100% reliable - I'd say it has about 3/4 success rate and then the 'enter pin' prompt! I tried adding the same finger twice to improve the accuracy but didn't help. I also setup the face unlock feature but it would only work in very bright lighting. My living room has several spotlights and is reasonably well lit but the face unlock would not work until I went directly underneath one of the lights. For comparison my other friends' Samsung and Oppo phones face unlocked worked fine in the same room lighting. I can't see any reason why this is still an issue in 2023! The Tensor 2 chipset is powerful enough and the front selfie camera takes good quality pics so it must just be a software algorithm issue.

The phone feels quite premium but is pretty heavy and bulky compared to the smaller standard models. After you put a case on it - it feels even bigger/heavier in the hand! :(

The camera is good quality and I was especially impressed with the 5x optical zoom. The one thing you will notice is that the colours are a bit flat and less punchy than on other phones (Oppo, Samsung, Apple) but there is still a lot of detail if you crop in closely. Photos look great especially in good lighting. Night shots were a mixed bag with slightly better than average results.

Last niggle is the charging - as the phone comes with a large 5000 mAh battery and only max 23W charging speed - it takes a long time to reach a full charge from flat. (2 hours 9 minutes wired and 4 hours 1 minute wirelessly!) There is also no charger supplied in the box anymore - Apple stylee! :(

The fingerprint issue, temperamental face unlock, slow charging and bulkiness proved too much of an issue for me and regrettably I decided to return the phone.

First off I love this phone. Coming from Samsung this phone is fast and clean. I also think the camera is the best ever. BUT the sound quality of the speakers is dreadful. I use my phone to listen to bbc sounds and youtube etc. (it replaced my dab radio) so use the speakers quite a lot. The sound from the speakers is sharp and hard to listen to. It was giving me a headache. I also go to the gym with bluetooth headphones and this phone is very quiet through bluetooth - certainly not loud enough to be able to listen to over the music in the gym. In the end I returned it and got a second hand S23 Ultra which takes me back to the messy Samsung UI but the sound is amazing and the bluetooth is loud and well balanced, also the camera is as good as the Pixel. I will see how the Pixel 8 Pro is and if these problems are fixed I will get one, if not the S23 Ultra is well future proofed and maybe by Pixel 9 Google will have fixed what I see as deal breaker problems with probably the best camera phone out there.
