Ein gut verarbeiteter Downfire- Subwoofer. Passt gut zu meinen alten Elac Standlautsprechern. Die Auto- Schaltung funktioniert zuverlässig wenn Bassanteile ankommen. Regler, Schalter und Terminal scheinen Wertig zu sein. Ich habe den Subwoofer gekauft, da moderne AV-Receiver wohl sehr im Klang davon abhängig sind. Ohne klingt alles grätzig und grell, trotz diverser Einstellmöglichkeiten. Kaum hängt der Elac- Subwoofer dran wirkt plötzlich alles Rund und ausgewogen. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung vor allem zu diesem Preis.

Beeindruckend, wieviel Subwoofer man für sein Geld erhält.

Im Netz gibt es viel Lob für Elac's Debut 2.0 Serie.
Zum Subwoofer habe ich vor dem Kauf kaum Informationen gefunden.

Der günstige Preis war der ausschlaggebende Faktor für diesen Spontankauf. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Dieser Subwoofer klingt wesentlich größer, als er ist.

Die akustischen Voraussetzungen sind mehr als herausfordernd: ein großer, L-förmiger Raum mit vielen Einrichtungsgegenständen und jede Menge Deko.

Egal ob Film oder Musik - er macht genau, was er soll. Für diese Preisklasse überraschend präzise und druckvoll.

Die Verarbeitung ist gelungen, den Sanktus meiner Frau zur freien Aufstellung habe ich bekommen.

Was will man mehr zu diesem Preis?

Hochwertige Anmutung, schönes Gerät. Paßt mir klanglich und optisch hervorragend zu den ELAC Regallautsprechern. Die leider aufgrund der Raum-Geometrie nicht so in der Ecke stehen können, wie's für die eigene Baßentfaltung notwendig (und auch ausreichend) wär. Am anfangs aufgetretenen Netzbrumm war das (offenbar defekte) Cinch-Kabel schuld, die Box ist super.

Clear bass.. But not going deep onli 30-35hz..at max level you can hear port noise..
I've got it paired with elac's debut b6. 2 but elac b6. 2 give a lot of bass of 35hz .. so i think i should have taken a sub that plays under 30hz

Hallo Leser,

Ich habe diesen Subwoofer nicht bei Amazon, sondern bei Horch und Guck bestellt.

Ich hatte den Bass vor dem Kauf noch nie gehört und auch der Name war mir unbekannt. Aus diesem Grund war ich auch zuerst eher skeptisch.

Das hat sich jedoch gelegt als ich den Subwoofer zu Hause angeschlossen und getestet habe.

Positiv:
-Satt
-Kräftig
-Klar
-Kann die Wände wortwörtlich bewegen

Etwas negatives konnte ich bis jetzt noch nicht wirklich feststellen. Das einzige was ich Ihnen dazu nur sagen kann ist: Prüfen Sie vor dem Kauf, ob ihre Wände eine gute Schallisolierung haben, denn der Bass ist schon auf kleinster Stufe sehr stark. Wer also bei Musik oder Filmen einen guten Bass, welcher bei Filmen wie im Kino wirkt, genießen will sollte sich überlegen diesen Subwoofer zu kaufen.

Von mir gibt es für diesen Subwoofer nach den aufgezählten Punkten eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Good now it is run in but one annoying flaw

I’ve had this in use for a few weeks now and it has run in to be an excellent supplement to a pair of tiny bookshelf speakers (Dali Spector 2) and a fairly low powered (30W per ch) Denon RCD-M41 DAB micro system. The Denon has as expected fairly poor bass definition and extension, mainly I suspect due to a low damping factor. By dialling the bass control to about -80% and running this Elac from the Denon’s useful sub out connector, a very clean well damped bass line can be achieved.
Sometimes too much, for example Billie Eilish always seems to have a very strong bass line on her recordings and that makes everything shake! Have to turn the sub off for these.
Other music I have played from jazz to classical via pop and rock is well rendered and I have no complaints.
It’s fairly large but as is the way with bass units, positioning is not critical and I have it under my desk in the study with the Dali units on top of the desk. Makes it tricky to adjust during set up but now that is done I rarely need to touch it. Sonically I’m pretty pleased with it on the whole.
Why not 5 stars? Well, somewhat surprisingly the speaker protection is poorly implemented and a noticeable thump can often be heard at auto power on and usually again (admittedly quieter) when it goes into standby on low signal. Interestingly at power up from stand by the Denon is afflicted the same way. So I have a double whammy at switch on time. Didn’t expect this from modern kit.

Wow! After spending a couple of weeks researching which budget subwoofer to purchase I am really pleased with this. It complements my music system Denon M41 perfectly.

I like that you can adjust the volume so it doesn't dwarf your other speakers and adjust the pitch so you can decide how much bass you want; plus it knows when to kick in and when r I stand back. All for under £150.

I do have one issue - it arrived on Saturday but DOESN'T come with a speaker lead to connect with an amp. It only includes the power cable. It took 24 hours to have the speaker lead delivered, so MAKE SURE you order one when you order this product. I am happy with the blue rigger sub lead from Amazon for £7.49.
