Habe bisher 3 von den Kabeln um dahinter USB Hubs anzuschließen, weil ich meinen PC nicht in dem Raum habe, in dem mein Schreibtisch ist.
An meinem Main PC (Z490 MSI Gaming Carbon) unter Windows 10/11 funktioniert das Kabel super und unter Linux Pop_OS (basiert auf Ubuntu) hat es auch bisher keine Probleme gemacht.
An meinem Heimserver (Z590 Aorus Master) mit Unraid als Betriebssystem bekomme ich Fehlermeldungen beim Boot dass der USB Port nicht enabled werden konnte obwohl alle Angeschlossenen Geräte funktionieren. Dadurch wird aber der VM Tab sehr unresponsive, und das Problem hatten wohl unter Linux schon mehr Leute.

Allgemein funktionierte das Kabel über das vergangene Jahr sehr gut für mich.
Das einzige was für mich nicht funktioniert hatte war zusammen mit diesem USB Kabel + einem Displayport Verlängerungskabel eine Valve Index betreiben.
Einige haben bei beiden Teilen geschrieben dass es für sie mit Oculus und Valve Index funktioniert, manche sagen es geht nicht.
Ich bin hier leider im Camp der Leute bei denen es nicht funktioniert hat.

TLDR:
Funktioniert unter aktuellen Windows Systemen super.
Linux scheint da etwas durchwachsener zu sein.
VR scheint etwas Glücksspiel zu sein.

I bought this to extend the cable on an Oculus Rift sensor with the vague sense of dread that comes with knowing it seems to be a bit of a lottery as to whether extension cables are compatible with them. I'd done some research beforehand and signs seemed to be positive so I gave it a go and to my relief it works just fine.

It's a thick but still reasonably flexible cable with certainly room for a decent level of shielding inside but I'm not going to hack it in half to check so I'm just going to have to go on performance which has been pretty flawless for what I've needed it to do with no drop-outs of connection and no weird tracking quirks which, to be honest, is enough to convince me this is more than good enough quality for any other kind of use I'd need a USB extension cable for as I generally found the Oculus delighted in dropping connection with the sensor with even the mildest excuse.

It also manages to be genuinely hideous to behold with a styling choice that resembles something from an early 90s mini hi-fi system so that's a plus.

Bought to extend the range of my Oculus Rift Sensor and works a treat! Cable is of good quality and is quite flexible. Using with the Rift Sensor, the Oculus Home software reports the Sensor as plugged into a USB 3 port and tracking is rock solid.

Cable came coiled up in a thick plastic re-sealable bag. When the cable is uncoiled, it lies quite straight without wanting to re-coil itself, so laying around the outside of room was pain free.

If you want to place Oculus Sensors farther from your PC (5m to be exact), this is the cable to get!

This a a long extension lead and does just what is needed, using multiple extensions to get the length was problematic in keeping the link active, using this cable with its repeater solved the problem, no issues with plug and play and device now working as it should

I bought this to extend the cable on a logitec webcam and it works ok for that. The webcam is USB 2.0 but I had originally intended to buy a USB 3.0 extension cable in the hope that I was future-proofing myself. However a lot (all?) powered USB 3.0 extension cables say they aren't compatible with USB 2.0, so I got this one instead. Watch out for this if you plan to mix and match the two standards.

Does not work with Oculus Rift S, but only 1 star off as that doesn't mean it isn't a good cable.
Asking it to help power the Rift was a bit of an ask, but it doesn't work. It tries, but nope ... flashing amber light in the headset.

Am about to try the uGreen 5m cable instead as it says it supports VR headsets and it was recommended in a YT video (v=JOn9yftdiU8). Fingers crossed it works as my Displayport cable has no problem being extended 5m.
