I know I did as a kid (that and being invisible). The book had a surprisingly good human element to it what with the examination of how the narrator's ability to stop time, and his activities during said time, affect himself and his relationships with others. He delves into the characters seemingly repressed sexuality in his fantasies and his escapades during his "time-freezes" without dipping into total sleaze and crappy "porno" writing (except when it was supposed to be written that way, a la the narrators "porn" story he recounts). A good read to pick up even if it can be slow at times
