my least favorite Jung seminar,
Rezension bezieht sich auf: Visions: Notes of the Seminar Given in 1930-1934 by C. G. Jung (Bollingen Series) (Gebundene Ausgabe)
Although peppered with Jung's usual mix of intuition and erudition, this seminar was painful to read, perhaps because Jung's racist bigotry and unresolved feelings toward women was so evident throughout it. He is particularly adept at interpreting women's strength and assertiveness as pathological animus activities, nor does he pause to wonder at the impatience in some of his statements or the disagreeing reactions of some of the women in his audience. This edition has an intro that sums up some of the other issues brought into the seminar.
