Rezension bezieht sich auf: The Hunger Games 1 (Taschenbuch)
The story of "The Hunger Games" reminds of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - kids fight against each other to survive and win the games to reach fame and wealthiness.
Beside the games the story tells about the complicated love between two teenagers (Katniss and Peeta)from the same so called "Districts".
The book can be read fluently since the writing style is very easy and the actions follow a clear line.
The fight in the arena is quite exciting and Katniss experiences multifaceted situations.
The story seems very brutal, because kids are murdering each other with quite strange methods which seems not adequate in referring to their age. The end is predictable but includes some suprising moments.
All in all "The Hunger Games" is not a demanding book, nice to read in bed.
