"Gravity" is another frightening, graphic thriller from Tess Gerritsen. Her strength is not character development or sparkling dialogue. There is no graphic sex and there are few romantic interludes. What Gerritsen does is scare you half to death. She does impeccable research in this novel about a bunch of astronauts who are stuck in a space station with a deadly, infectious organism. Her research is unbelievable. You feel as if you are on the space station with these hapless astronauts. She owes a debt of gratitude to Crichton's "Andromeda Strain," a book that I am sure she had in mind when she wrote this. As Stephen King says in the blurb on the book jacket, you will be up into the night reading this to see how everything unfolds.
