Eliyahu Goldratt has formulated some wonderful concepts for management and popularized them in his novels The Goal and the sequel, It's Not Luck. The marketing strategies in It's Not Luck are revolutionary, systematic and extraordinary means to innovate in a market. The procedures, however, are difficult to extrapolate from the novel in a step by step fashion. Dettmer makes them clear.
