Rezension bezieht sich auf: A Storm of Swords, Part 2: Blood and Gold (Taschenbuch)
Remember me talking about how so many people died in the first part of book three in the A Song of Fire and Ice series? Yeah, scratch that. That was child's play compared to what went down next. I can't count the times I felt my heart pounding in my chest, wishing for another Bran-Rickon case. Well ... no. I'm still left somewhat heartbroken because a lot of bad things happened to many many characters I love. But there was balance! Yes! Let's just say I have fewer characters to hate.
For me, this part of the third book was much better than Steel and Snow. Much more happened, the characters did so much more instead of just standing and talking. I especially enjoyed the chapters of characters on the wall, as well as Sansa's and Tyrion's chapters. However, there was not a single point of view I disliked this time. It all seemed very well rounded.
In short, I can't wait to read A Feast for Crows simply because of all the drama and heartbreak that went down in A Storm of Swords. I don't know how Martin went on from what he left me with but I heard a lot of good things, so here's to crossing my fingers!
I can't tell you how much I have grown to love most characters. I'm over the moon for a lot of them, like Sansa, Tyrion, Jon and Littlefinger. Sure, not all of them are angels but still so very entertaining! Sorry for this somewhat short review but there is nothing left to say except: Go read the series, now!
