What a wonderful cookbook - the Thai cuisine at its best!
The dishes are aromatic, spicy, sweet'n-sour and all simple to prepare.

The book is divided according to the 4 main regions of the "Land of the Free": North, Northeast, Central and Southern. Each region is also influenced by the neighbor countries. So in every region has been created something really special, merging Thai dishes with Khmer, Lao, Burmese, Cambodian and Chinese ingredients.

After the Introduction You will find the "Base": 7 Popular Thai Dishes like Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, the traditional red and green Curries or Congee which is in Thai called Chok...
The Northern chapter contains 7 typical dishes like the Northern-Style Tom Yum or the Crispy Rice Cakes or the Stir-Fried Morning Glory...
Then the Northeastern region gives us 9 recipes like Steamed Sticky Rice, Som Tam aka Papaya Salad, Hot and Sour Soup ...
Central Thai Cuisine offers 8 recipes like Nam Phrik aka Thai Chili Paste, Coconut Soup with Chicken,and Khanom Tom Daeng, the famous Sticky Rice Cakes...
Finally for the Southern region there are 6 dishes like the famous Satay with Peanut/Coconut-Milk-Sauce, 2 different Shrimp Salads and 2 hearthy spicy Curries.
