At the beginning of my quest for answers to the Universe, i found sitchin's books. they are all full of intriguing ideas and possible answers to the origins of humankind on earth. i see strong hints of his theories in X-Files and the Star Trek series. and i say this as a fan of these shows.
readers, keep this in mind, sitchin's works DO NOT complete your search for answers to The Origins of Life or the Universe. sitchin's works are truely interesting and can be exciting. BUT BEWARE: do not let your searchings and readings stop here with Sitchin. Continue to search for answers with more reading and research to satisfy your intellect and soul.
i would suggest other authors such as Peter Russell (White Hole in Time, Global Brain) for academic and philosophical theory on the evolution of life on earth. And Ken Carey(The Third Millenium) for further answers to the cosmic origins of mankind that comes with satisfying prose on the spiritual essence and the Universe's purpose in humans.
whether your try these authors and others, i hope you find other material to further your personal search for Answers.

Contrary to the previous reviewer's headline, this book IS on a par with Sitchin's earlier works. That is to say, like them it is utter rubbish from beginning to end. It is quite horrifying that garbage like this should find an audience and an ominous sign of the strange darkness beginning to envelop our culture and civilization. The reviews posted below speak for themselves.

Mr Sitchin's books provide an alternative world-view that is difficult at times to accept. The 12th Planet and the Lost Realms in my opinion are the best of the lot. This book is a real reach and I had extreme difficulty accepting its premise that angels are emissaries from another physical world. Perhaps if the premise were supported by scientific findings rather than strictly and purely biblical and ancients stories I'd be moved to look more seriously into the thesis. However I think Sitchin could use more work on this book to convince the average reader that angels are aliens from another planet.
Sorry Mr Sitchin , I hope the Cosmis Code is more convincing than this and I trust the work is in keeping with the first and fourth books of your Earth Chronicles - a thoroughly delightful and entertaining series of books.

In short, I was raised catholic, and always wondered why the stories in the bible were so twisted. You know that it (the bible) was changed, don't you? Read Genesis again and AGAIN, further more read this book. "Let US make man in OUR image, and OUR likeness" hmmm, who were "US", sure, sure...the holy trinity, believe what you want, or you can just go burn someone at the stake for being a heathen, lol. Lies, Lies, and Lies! "God" is one such lie, not the being, the word! Its "ELOHIM" not "GOD", B'NAI ELOHIM to be precise. Try this too, read about the "Nephilim" in Genesis, and you will be scratchin your head. Ask a Rabbi to translate them for you, then get your copy of "Divine Encounters" It will change your life. Why do you assume that Nibiru has to orbit "the sun?" What if Nibiru has its own internal heat source? What if Nibiru has its own sun? The truth is that Planet Earth is probably unique in the universe; therefore, can you consider that Nibiru is also unique in its own way and that just because it is different from our Earth, i.e., its 3,600 year orbit, doesn't mean the planet doesn't exist or that it doesn't support lifeforms. Mr. Sitchin asks that we not limit our thinking; if we remove the limits from our thinking processes, we will realize that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, not just US! Zecharia Sitchin has shown us more of our real history than any other contemporary author. I applaud him for his courage in writing this and his other "Earth Chronicles" books.

Generally an interesting book although not as illuminating as Sitchin's previous works. The entire book is tainted somewhat by Sitchin's conclusions as to the identity of Yahweh. Sitchin clearly allows his own religious beliefs to influence his conclusion in that regard. There is a complete lack of historical evidence to support Sitchin on this issue and despite his statement (p. 374) that his conclusion is "quite logical on reflection", it is in fact totally lacking in logic. Those who are truly interested in a thoughtful analysis of Yahweh's identity should direct themselves to Alan Alford's "Gods of the New Millenium".

How can life exist on Nibiru when its elliptical orbit takes it so far away from the sun that no life-sustaining light or heat reaches it for most of its orbit? And without life being possible on Nibiru, there can be no Anunnaki. And without Anunnakis, Mr. Sitchin's theories are without foundation. Can he give a plausible explanation to this key point?

Another masterpiece by my hero. And if that's not enough, at last, the answer to the burning (bush?) question... just who was the God of the Jews?... was he "just another annunaki"?... or more? A "don't miss this" for readers of the "Earth Chronicles". Awesome!

I loved this book! I think that this is a must for anyone interested in UFO's and alternate explanations for religious interpretations.

I like how it says that modern aliens(insect-like eyes, grey skin)are robots. It also says Ezekiel was visited by aliens.
