As a radio producer & radio host in Lima/Peru,since the eighties and receiving so many and interesting sonic material from all over the world and from other galaxies, too!I can easily deduce styles and sonic scenes to come.Generations come and gone...and come again!Music is like films, they are all like a vicious circle. So here we have to this act that I have already heard before because of their previous magnetic debut and thanks to: Compost Records, one of the german labels that is putting its stellar mark around this blue planet.I am continuosly talking about this label in Peru for being extremely visionnary. Once In A While, the audiosonic sphere by this splendorous act introduces us into the music with the sign of the times: vintage & nu sounds filtered music and with a dash of space age bachelor pad or space age pop as others have named it,and if you only connect your bionic ears to the sonic satellite:Preacher Song -a track that not only could make you travel to the Esquivel planet but also to STEREOLAB territory- you could give me the reason.Just hear it and do your own comparisons. EDDY MEETS YANNAH,puts the past in the future and viceversa -and others tracks here to keep you up are: Tik Tak,Who Is It? Feat. Amalia,No One Is Gonna Love You...and of course, among others.I also celebrate the presence of the crooner Earl linger on this identified flying saucer:Once In A While.Dare to have it and live the present of the music and beyond.
