When I heard Dr. Dyer on an audiotape saying he obsessively saves coat hangers he'll never use, and doesn't need to save since he is wealthy, all because he spent time in an orphanage as a child, and it stayed with him, I thought he was rather a hypocrite. Here he is, still with a neurosis, and he's preaching to others in this book how we can be rid of OUR erroneous zones. This book gives broad advice that can point an unhappy person in the right direction. But it lacks details, and lacks research that these methods have worked for a lot of people a high percentage of the time. He seems to be relating things he's THOUGHT of, not seen in research.
