The lumberjacks who sing the life and death of household appliance are back! Who'd have ever thought such a topic could be so poetic? Yet Grandaddy's music has the power to carry such strong emotions they can sing about anything, they'll make you cry for the abandoned refrigerator or the shut down robot.
Oh so sweet melodies, shreded guitars and catchy Casio-style riffs, crowned with Jason Lytle soft, wonderful voice, these are the ingredients for a great Grandaddy album. None's missing. And although at first, Sumday might seems less sophisticated then The Sophtware Slump, the songs soon get stuck in your head nevertheless. Hope this lot never *gets fed up with the music business* and will go on delivering enchanting music for many years...
And if you have a computer, don't forget to watch the enhanced part (especially Nacher Anthem), it's hilarious and so cute!
