Zack Wells has successfully integrated into the lives of the Locke-kids and is trying to find the Omega-key which Ty is jealously guarding even from his siblings. All the while Zack is using different means to get at him making the big and mentally not so agile sportsman more of a thinker than anyone would have thought possible. But then events from different times and places catch up with Zack and force his hands - and change the game-board quite a bit.
The story gallops along quite easily and the artwork of Gabriel Rodriguez is again very convincing. The change between styles with the change of perspective makes the visuals even more interesting and so "Locke & Key" #4 has been well worth the wait again. And now I wait for the next one.
Incidentally, the cover of my edition shows the well-house behind the keyhouse in the snow with the music-box-key in front of it. It is similarly important as the beheaded sparrow on the cover amazon shows here, but it is still different. But one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. ;-)
