A Very Entertaining Read

Well, what can I say about Matthew Reilly. Not a single element in his novels is great, it's just a conglomeration of conspiracy theories, bad prose, Wikipedia articles, stupid characters and some really bad dialogue. But you know what? Aristotle had it totally right when he said "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." That's why I LOVE his novels.
They're about insane amounts of action and outrageous stunts, mostly against the clock. You lean back and let Reilly pummel your brain with insanely outrageous scenes after another, and enjoy. And that's where the only relevant question when reading one of his books comes in: How much action can Reilly put between the covers? The answer, as always, is: a lot!
For fans of his style "Scarecrow Returns" is a must. If you're into intelligent plots, well thought-out dialogue, or just some believable action scenes - well, steer clear of Reilly. This reads more like a comic or computer game than anything else. Somebody once wrote that Reilly is a "fast-paced non-stop roller coaster ride". That's pretty much the gist of it and there isn't anything else to add.
