5.0 von 5 Sternen Interesting theory, presented nicely
Among the heaps of religious thrillers that were thrown on the market after the success of Dan Brown, this one is a real find. Here's an Author that knows the facts AND how to write! The theory presented is quite interesting and makes sense, the writing style is fluent and fun to read, the action well paced. Some chapters jump right back into Roman history and help to...

A piece of fiction, I suppose one could call it a "thriller", revolving around discoveries and research which lead to the conclusion that the historical Jesus Christ upon whom modern-day Christianity is based was in fact another historical figure altogether. The ideas are interesting and, if the historical "facts" have any basis in truth, also quite...

Among the heaps of religious thrillers that were thrown on the market after the success of Dan Brown, this one is a real find. Here's an Author that knows the facts AND how to write! The theory presented is quite interesting and makes sense, the writing style is fluent and fun to read, the action well paced. Some chapters jump right back into Roman history and help to bring the theory to life.
Strongly recommended to anyone with an open mind interested in the way religions develop.

5.0 von 5 Sternen A gripping story, 12. Mai 2012

This page-turner captivated me and for the right reasons. It is well written and fulfills its essential functions. Well-researched and display a wide array of facets interwoven in a credible manner that the story comes out true to life. The Messiah Matrix and Disciples of Fortune are for now at the front list of my historical novels for their insight, information and other things. All I can say is that this is a well written work with a gripping plot, awesome characterization, beautiful dialogue and absorbing setting.

3.0 von 5 Sternen easy to read, 30. September 2013

A piece of fiction, I suppose one could call it a "thriller", revolving around discoveries and research which lead to the conclusion that the historical Jesus Christ upon whom modern-day Christianity is based was in fact another historical figure altogether. The ideas are interesting and, if the historical "facts" have any basis in truth, also quite disturbing for most Christians I suppose. The novel is reasonably well written with the exception of the love story which is all too predictable - the attraction of the two main characters is described in cliches phrases that become, with repetition, a bit silly. All in all entertaining but little more.
