How to appear friendly & its dangers,
Von Ced_Gwynedd (Gwynedd, Wales) - Alle meine Rezensionen ansehen
Rezension bezieht sich auf: How to Talk to Anyone (Taschenbuch)
I bought this book one year ago and I must admit I loved it in the first place since it gave so many tricks and ideas about how to have interesting concversations. However, after a certain time, readers become very aware of themselves of their own talking and, if they are like me, they will soon think that other people are too. Then things go complicated: Do they ask me about my hobbies because they want to appear friendly (I would: I read it in the book!) or are they genuinely friendly..?Beware of this double-bluff! And keep away from this book if you do linguistics: language awareness can be terrible. Helfen Sie anderen Kunden bei der Suche nach den hilfreichsten Rezensionen

It's okay, I guess.,
Von Amazon bestätigter Kauf(Was ist das?)

Well, I can't even remember if I ever finished the book, as the author eventually turned out to be annoying me with her style.Matters little however, as it yielded quite some potential tips in regards to socializing for me. This effect may be accurate for everyone who normally just gets mind-boggled by society and its seemingly unwritten rules. Granted, I'd rate it with 3.5 Stars if I had the chance, but it wasn't quite worth a 4 in my eyes, as there are far better options out there - at least there been for me. Super!,
Rezension bezieht sich auf: How to Talk to Anyone (Taschenbuch)
This book is amazing!I would consider myself as shy sometimes and it really help me to unterstand what it takes to act more confident. The author has studied top businessmen, actors, singers, people who made it to the top... politicians... and analysed their charisma. Her results are explained in the book very well. Obviously you don't have to follow everyhing, but I have to say since I have used only a couple of her tips, I got stuff for free in shops and people were much much nicer to me! It really does help and I reccomend it to everyone. It won't harm you. Helfen Sie anderen Kunden bei der Suche nach den hilfreichsten Rezensionen

nice field guide,
Rezension bezieht sich auf: How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships (Taschenbuch)
If Dale Carnegies "How to win friends and influnence pepole" is the benchmark in the field of communication, this is certainly it's modern, practical, hands-on field guide. Leil goes quickly to the heart of the problem - language and style are clear and concise and you're strongly encouraged to try yourself. The book deserves it's place on the bookshelf of those wishing to improve their communication skills. It is certainly worth the buy. I give it a thumbs up. Helfen Sie anderen Kunden bei der Suche nach den hilfreichsten Rezensionen |
