Kate Fox manages perfectly to entertain the reader and at the same time give him/her an insight into the meaning of the term 'Englishness', which she does by analysing the 'hidden rules' that exist in nearly all aspects of life. The book is wonderfully amusing and written in a very comprehensive way. It is really hard to put the book down sometimes. I would recommend this book to everyone interested in the English way of life, the English culture and also in the 'spleens' of the English.
